@Omo_busola @Row_Haastrup I don't get it. So I shud side rubbish because I'm a Christian? Isn't it obvious that these pastors are profiting off the people, a billion to one, in comparison to imams? Since much is been taken by them, much shud be expected. It is that simple.
English

No one has dragged one single Imam or Alfa;
No one has dragged the Chief Imam of the National Mosque;
No one has called out the head of NASFAT or Answarudeen;
Not one single person has demanded that any one of them lead a protest.
But it’s okay to demand for a protest from an 84-year old man for you who is feeling the heat & rubbish policies of this wicked administration the most.
Make we no lie, you never ready 🤣

@ogundamisi On top simple question, an explainer of words is needed

Reporter to Nigerian President
"Sir, how would you respond to the worsening insecurity in Nigeria?"
President Bola Tinubu's response.
“Issue of insecurity, that is the love, that’s obedience of love, no where in the holy teaching that you should engage in banditry, no where that you should kill another human being, the sacrifice we are talking about, even in beginning of life, where we take this from, a child was replace with animal, and that is what the value of life is all about”
What the President was trying to say ?
👇🏼
“On the issue of insecurity, every religion teaches love and obedience to humanity. Nowhere in any holy teaching are people encouraged to engage in banditry or kill another human being.
The sacrifice we often talk about in the story of creation reminds us of the value of human life,.a child was replaced with an animal as a sacrifice. That is the true meaning and value of life, and we must all uphold it.”

@Lucia_uiu @Prince_dc21_ @itohan_olat The claims are false, no peaceful walk was canceled, the writer is just chasing clout
English

People are not asking for violence, they are asking to be heard. If even a peaceful walk against insecurity gets cancelled, disappointment is inevitable.
Many Nigerians still believe in God, but they are losing trust in religious leaders who seem too close to power while ordinary people continue to suffer.
English

So according to what this many in the picture said, RCCG members were allegedly told to begin a three-day fasting and later hold a peaceful walk against the insecurity in the country.
The plan was simple. No violence, no shouting, just a peaceful walk with placards.
People reportedly prepared for it and even dressed up for the march on Sunday morning, only for another message to come that the protest had been cancelled.
Now the painful part according to the man sharing the story was that the protest was allegedly cancelled because of pressure connected to the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, who is also said to be a pastor of the church.
The man said he almost cried in church because as a teacher, he no longer feels safe in this country after hearing stories of teachers and innocent Nigerians constantly being k!lled.
He said despite still believing strongly in Jesus Christ, he has lost trust in many Nigerian pastors because according to him, they have influence and large followership but rarely use their voices to truly defend struggling Nigerians.
According to him, churches are supposed to be a safe place where people run to for hope and truth, but now many people feel they have become too connected to politics and power.

English

@Prince_dc21_ You’re a teacher you said, if RCCG decided not to protest as a church where you’re not being paid, why can’t you summon your National Union of Teachers where you’re being paid to go for a peaceful protest abi na pastor Adeboye na una president?

@onyemkpa83131 @JonathanArowolo @Row_Haastrup Were you at winners chapel HQ on Sunday to listen to Bishop Oyedepo

You need to be saved

@archeohistories Well, it just goes to show that Christian religious fanatics have been a problem a long time. Christianity is a death cult. Christians are among the most gullible people

She walked into the arena knowing she would not walk out. Vibia Perpetua was just a young noblewoman in Roman Carthage—educated, privileged, and newly a mother—when she made a choice that would cost her everything. Around 203 CE, under the rule of Septimius Severus, converting to Christianity was seen not just as rebellion, but as a threat to the state itself. Perpetua was arrested alongside a small group of believers, including her pregnant servant, Felicity.
What followed is one of the most intimate—and unsettling—records to survive from the ancient world. While imprisoned, Perpetua kept a diary. Not a legend written centuries later. Not a story shaped by others. Her own words. She described the darkness of the cell, the fear, the pressure—and the visits from her father, who begged her to renounce her faith. He pleaded as a parent, as a citizen, as a man desperate to save his daughter. He even brought her infant son to her, hoping it would break her resolve.
It didn’t.
Perpetua refused—not coldly, but with a clarity that feels almost impossible to understand. She believed she could not deny what she had become. And in a world where women were expected to obey, yield, and survive quietly, that refusal was its own kind of rebellion.
The story grows even more striking. Felicity, heavily pregnant in prison, feared she would be spared execution—Roman law forbade the killing of pregnant women. According to the account, she prayed to give birth early so she could die alongside the others. She did. Days before the execution.
When the day came, the women were sent into the arena. The crowd expected fear, spectacle, submission. Instead, witnesses described something else entirely. Calm. Even defiance. Perpetua is said to have guided the trembling hand of the young gladiator sent to kill her—steadying him when he hesitated.
It’s a moment that has echoed for centuries—not because of violence, but because of control. In the final seconds of her life, she refused to be reduced to a victim.
Her diary, preserved in what became known as The Passion of Perpetua and Felicity, is one of the earliest surviving texts written by a Christian woman. But beyond its religious significance, it reveals something raw and human: fear, love, conviction, and a will that would not bend—even under unimaginable pressure.

We’ll Not Remove First Lady Oluremi Tinubu As An Ordained Pastor In The RCCG - Adeboye
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has stated that Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will not be removed from her position as an ordained pastor in the church.
Speaking during the monthly Holy Ghost Service today, Adeboye explained that Oluremi Tinubu was ordained as an Assistant Pastor more than ten years ago, long before her husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, showed any intention of running for the presidency.
He emphasised that the First Lady went through the full process of ordination and has not violated any of the church’s guidelines. He added that the church will not bow to external pressure calling for her removal.

English

@ARISEtv That is why I will never attend RCCG again my Elder sister tried to invite but I declined
English

@therealchurchg1 What a joke. CAN is the most useless organization in the country and there’s more corruption in RCCG than in the federal government of Nigeria.

LAST WARNING!!!
CAN CAUTIONS PAPA OMOLEHIN
• Issues Press Release
•Denies Split
•Insists No Relief Funds Missing
•Warns Against False Claims
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has noted with grave concern a series of false, malicious, and deeply defamatory claims circulating in the public space, alleging a division within the Association along Northern and Southern lines, as well as the diversion of funds purportedly meant for the relief of persecuted Christians in Northern Nigeria.
We state, in the clearest possible terms: these allegations are entirely false, unfounded, and deliberately misleading.
For the avoidance of doubt, CAN has neither received nor managed any such relief funds as alleged, and no funds have been diverted under any circumstance. The narrative being promoted is a fabrication, calculated to misinform the public, erode trust, and bring the Church into disrepute.
CAN remains one united and indivisible body. There is no split, no secession, and no division within our structure. Any suggestion to the contrary is false and should be disregarded.
CAN continues to work in unity with Christian leaders across all regions of Nigeria, with a steadfast commitment to peace, accountability, and the welfare of all believers, especially those affected by insecurity.
We are deeply troubled that these baseless claims were publicly propagated by Rev. Isaac Omolehin, founder of Word Assembly Ministry, Ilorin, without evidence and without regard for the potential consequences on national cohesion and the unity of the Church.
We also note, with concern, the unwarranted references to respected Christian leaders; Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, and Pastor William Kumuyi, in a manner capable of misleading the faithful and inflaming unnecessary tensions.
Accordingly, we issue a firm and final caution to Rev. Isaac Omolehin and any other individuals or groups who misuse their platforms to disseminate unverified or defamatory claims: desist immediately. Failure to do so will compel the Association to take all necessary steps, including legal action, to protect its integrity and that of the Christian community.
The Christian Association of Nigeria remains steadfast in its commitment to truth, unity, accountability, and service to all Nigerians.
Signed:
✠ Archbishop Daniel Okoh,
President,
Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN)

@MrEazi105419 @agbalagbo @AdageorgeA That's why sitting down and talking through things is very important
English

@agbalagbo @AdageorgeA Without even discussing anything, why can't the wife see reasons in what her husband is doing?
English

When I said some women are responsible for their children's irresponsibility, some people attacked me, but I just remembered something I witnessed first hand.
I have a friend that made it very early in life, so he is understandably rich. He had up to 3 cars as at then, at least the ones I had seen.
There was a day I visited him in the morning to give him my church appeal fund envelope, so I overheard the wife shouting inside, saying "I'm tired of this Keke ooo, there can't be cars in the house and I'm using Keke", bla bla bla. At first I didn't understand what was happening because I actually saw cars when I came into the compound.
So when she left with her two kids, I asked my guy why his wife was going out with Keke. He told me that their school was just at a walkable distance by the street, and that he wants his children to understand how life works, and also for them not to grow up with the entitlement mentality. As a matter of fact, they only use keke to School.
Honestly speaking, I became proud of my guy that day and it made me respect him the more. On my way out, I met the wife by the gate and she didn't even greet me, as if I was her husband or the cause of her supposed pain.
If you say the man is wicked for letting his beloved wife enter Keke when there are three cars in the house, what would you say of Wini and her mother who watched the young guy r@ped countless times?

Some Years ago I wanted to resign as General Overseer - Pastor E.A Adeboye
I felt I was laboring in prayers and fasting for them, but they didn’t care, so I decided that I was going to resign as the General Overseer of the Church. With my decision made, I took a nap and when I woke, there was a young girl who had come to see me. She said God told her to come and give me a cake. I was so touched by the gesture that even though I don’t like cake so much, I ate that one. Then God said “I thought you said no one cared”. I realized that I had paid so much attention to appreciation from the people that I did not remember how much God cares for and loves me.
Now, when as a believer you are feeling depressed, what you need is to go deep into the presence of God because Psalm 16:11 says:
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
You cannot be engulfed in the presence of God and not feel His love and care for you; that love you feel will bring joy to your soul.

@osei_amankwaah @Row_Haastrup Okay okay okay, she went to heaven's reception called Paradise
English

@Row_Haastrup Christians or “righteous people” do not go to heaven when they die. Scripture teaches that the dead know not anything and there’s no consciousness at death. “The dead in Christ shall rise first” on the resurrection morning. O that we may understand.
English

The day she died, Feb 30 1976, after a miracle service when many had been healed, she collapsed as a result of heart enlargement.
She was rushed to the best heart center in America where a surgery was performed on her and she laid there for days.
Oral Roberts had been invited to pray for Mrs Khulman, as Oral stepped into the room he felt God's healing power present to heal.
Oral closed his eyes to pray, then his wife Mrs Evelyn Roberts signaled him that "it seems Mrs Khulman doesn't want to be prayed for, it seems she wants to go to Heaven".
So Oral opened his eyes and met Mrs Khulman using her hands to signal him not to pray for her. She couldn't talk at the time due to her condition.
Then Oral asked Mrs Khulman, "should I pray for your healing or you want to go to Heaven?" Mrs Khulman responded with her hands that she wanted to go to Heaven.
Then Oral laid hands on her and prayed that the Lord would grant her request. Mrs Khulman took her last breath and went to Heaven.
During her lifetime, her famous words were:
"I was born without a talent. I was born with no hair on my head only red fogs. Then one day I looked up and said:
'Wonderful Jesus, I have nothing to give you but my love. I give my body to you as a living sacrifice. If you can take nothing and use it, please use me.'
It isn't golden or silver vessels God wants, He simply want yielded vessels."

He said the man used to do 2 weeks locked up in a room, praying in tongues throughout.
Bishop Oyedepo used to pray for 7 days straight before Shiloh.
