Marine Rescue NSW says it has responded to 600 callouts since Christmas as rough seas triggered a surge in emergencies for boaties off the coast.

Today, an additional 80 NSW firefighters and 12 support personnel from the #RFS and NPWS have deployed to fire-affected areas across Victoria. With deteriorating weather conditions forecast in the coming days, these crews will support local firefighters with several large fires.
