In a dreaded world In this despicable abode That has no hope to forge Nor the will or urge Has no strength to hold With no one to uphold Make a difference Be the reason someone has to smile With hope they can walk the mile Look up to the sky and feel alive

@KozbaLenny These are the kind of takes I like. Later y'all will come and say the spain team that won it is filled with world class players and it was unfair on the rest. Or shout rigged like you always do.

i genuinely don’t have issue with Bruno Fernandez celebrating his assist record, my only problem is how he’ll suddenly forget his primary duty when it comes to Portugal NT. They always want to be the main character whenever they see Cristiano Ronaldo. Rubbish teammates 😏😒

Real Madrid are so entitled lol. There were two whole months after the Club World Cup before the first international break, Gonzalo Garcia played two of three games for Real Madrid, started zero, totalled less than 30 minutes and had less than 20 touches, one shot, nothing else. After that, Real Madrid played 7 games before the next international break, Garcia started once, did not feature in 4. Zero goals. Before the next international break again, didn’t feature in 3 out of 6 games, benched in all 6 games, the 3 he played he accrued less than 10 total minutes. Zero goals. Went an extra 9 matches without scoring a goal, 16 matches featured in, 0 goals, one assist vs Kairat Javsjaksnsjsb. Didn’t feature in 10 additional matches. But you want a call up for Club World Cup. The fact that you think the dynamics changed after Pep era should tell you that it is down to Spain applying a philosophy that aligns with the Barcelona model. Made a video on that. And comparing 17 year olds between Barcelona and Real Madrid, proves my point. Gavi at 17 was a constant for Barça, Fati too, Yamal, Pedri, Cubarsi… Real Madrid having a Galactico ideology cannot allow for the consistent usage and development of their youngsters. Gonzalo Garcia would have been called up if he were from La Masia and playing for Barcelona because he would actually play consistently and develop sufficiently to convince DLF. This is simple x.com/PreciyIsi/stat…

There’s no end of any era. Right from day 1, Barcelona and Real Madrid players haven’t been treated same way, specially since the Pep era. If that’s not the case tell me how Rodri and Morata were captains before Carvajal? Carvajal even though he was playing UCL finals was hardly favored. Ramos was just undroppable, but the slightest opportunity Enrique got to drop him, wah happened? If you’ve been following the spanish national team you’d notice the bias. Once a 17yr old plays well in Barca, he gets called him. A 17yr old Real Madrid player will have to work twice as hard. Look at the Club World Cup G.Garcia had, if he was a Barca player, he’s getting a call up for that. It has always been that way and me I’m fine with that.

To be honest, Xavi and Iniesta are one of the most underrated duos in football history; their capabilities exceeded those of mere midfielders. 😮‍💨 I think they deserve their flowers 🤔

Nonsense talk. Luis Aragones built the spine of the golden Spanish national team, leaving out some of Spain’s “untouchables” in the process, like Raul & Joaquin. He won the 2008 Euros with that team. Many wanted him to continue but he had already made up his mind to retire—the Euros final was his last game. He then handed a now winning team to Del Bosque—who then added even way more Barca players than Aragones did. Aragones had just 3 Barca players— Xavi, Iniesta & Puyol. He also had just 2 Madrid players—Casillas & Ramos. Valencia & Liverpool had the most players for Spain under him—4 each. Del Bosque’s WC squad saw Madrid players go from 2 to 5 because regular Spanish team players like Raul Albiol and Xabi Alonso joined Madrid. The Barca numbers also rose from 3 to 8 with the bursting of Pique, Busquets & Pedro on the scene, all playing in the UCL final in 2009 & all being starters in a sextuple winning campaign, and further bolstered by regular Spanish first team starter David Villa moving to Barca. Valdes also earned a team slot. Eyebrows were raised because Del Bosque left out players who had shined at the Euros like Marcos Senna, as well as Santi Carzola, in favour of wonderkids like Javi Martinez and Juan Mata. Same spine is what he used to win the Euros in 2012—with Barca adding a 9th player with the return of Fabregas to Camp Nou. So don’t talk about what you don’t know.

Only Vicente del Bosque called up players based on meri and Spain won the World Cup under him. This De la Fuente guy is a Barca fan and nobody can convince me otherwise. Let’s see them win the World Cup with these selections.

Huijsen was getting benched by one leg Militao and washed Rudiger at the important part of the season for Madrid and you people wanted him to get a call up for the World Cup, what kind of delusion is that

Luis de la Fuente saying he “doesn’t look at clubs” sounds nice until you actually look at his squad selections. How do Cubarsí, Eric García, and Laporte get called up, but Dean Huijsen and Raúl Asencio don’t? Two Barcelona center-backs were selected despite Barça being among the top 5 teams with the worst defensive performances this season, yet Madrid defenders who were the best defense in la liga this season get ignored. And then you also call up Gavi, who has barely looked fully fit since returning from injury, while other players performing at a higher level get overlooked. Why ignore Gonzalo García, who has been one of the most impressive young Spanish strikers recently? Why ignore Thiago Pitarch as well after his performances this season? If he truly “only looks at performances,” then his decisions should reflect that. Right now, they don’t. Calling yourself neutral while repeatedly overlooking deserving Real Madrid players just makes you look hypocritical. It’s clear he’s a on Barcelona payroll.

🚨 Luis de la Fuente: “No Real Madrid? I don't look at any player's club: I only look at whether they have the possibility of playing with us. I don't look at whether they come from one team or another, I don't have that localist mentality that a fan might have.”
