On Sunday morning, the Israeli army spokesperson issued evacuation orders for 11 villages in South Lebanon, five of them named for the first time: al-Sharqiyeh, Srifa, Braiqaa, Qsaibeh and Kfar Sir, all located near the Litani River. The list also included six villages previously threatened: Doueir, Arabsalim, Jebchit, Baraachit, Kfar Dounine and Qaaqaaiyet al-Jisr. Airstrikes have already hit several of those areas today, including Doueir, Braiqaa and Qsaibeh, as well as the area between al-Sharqiyeh and Nmairiyeh. Today’s threat brings the total number of villages placed under evacuation orders during the “ceasefire” to 54, in addition to 55 border towns within the “Yellow Line.”
The @BBC just said on air that the ceasefire in Lebanon is “holding” and only one “death” has been recorded, “a man riding his motorcycle.” Israel has repeatedly broken the ceasefire and committed murder and domicide, targeting civilian homes. One day, if there is any humanity left in this world, not only the perpetrators of these heinous crimes will be put on trial but also their propagandists.
