Channel 5 News reports 272,000 fractures missed in 2024 due to lack of Fracture Liaison Services. As Dr Conminos says here, half of hip fracture patients had a previous fracture that should have flagged them earlier for meds. @wesstreeting @AshleyDalton_MP @zubirahmed

Fracture liaison services are a highly cost-effective way of saving lives & human misery, especially for the 1/2 of women who will break a bone due to osteoporosis. We need concrete plans to roll them out in every trust in England , as Wales has already done. @RoyalOsteoSoc

Am I just showing my age being so picky but surely a National newsreader should be aware of correct pronunciation. Just heard 'Grievious' twice from an ITV newsreader. The word is Grievous. The other error is Mischievious - it's Mischievous - 3 syllables not 4.🥲🥲

The Mail on Sunday has reported some leaked remarks from the Health Secretary about our charity. Here's our statement. The most important thing is that Ministers have confirmed their election pledge (FLS/ all Trusts/ 2030) for the first time in government, which we appreciate.
