How can @Argos_Online advertise goods they don't have? Offer free gift with lego sets but don't have gifts for some weeks and can't get them. I was told by rude member of staff to ask lego, not her problem. Is this breaking the law? False advertising?

@KaareJohnson @MrPitbull07 In Europe we guarantee a minimum wage no matter what you do. Employers can be prosecuted if they don't pay this. We tip for good service not service. Why should we tip someone with a sour face who doesn't have the decency to even smile. Why should we subsidise your poor wages?

The replies on this thread are absolutely embarrassing. This is the United States of America. When you go to a restaurant, you tip. That’s the standard in this country. The basic minimum is 20%. All you people coming up with lame excuses to not tip, there’s a simple reason why, you’re tight and cheap and trying to justify it. Just pathetic. If you can’t tip 20% don’t go out to eat. I want a Porsche 911, but I can’t afford the tires or the oil changes so I don’t own one. If you can’t tip when you go out to eat, stay home you cheapskates. Adults making excuses, nothing worse. and I’m not in the Restaurant industry. Never have been. I just live in New Orleans, where there are a bunch of nice restaurants that I frequent. I take care of the people that take care of me. I don’t make lame excuses. Grow up already.

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? Things are so bad in @marksandspencer . 4 wks at least since cyber attack and still so many empty shelves filled with popcorn and crisps. Even tills very slow, no online orders and no self service hand machines. What is happening? Why not be honest?

Ukrainians fight bravely for 3+ years, inflict hundreds of thousands of casualties on Russian army, weaken Putin politically. U.S. has sent ~$70 billion in outdated military equipment to Ukraine since start of war, providing opportunity for U.S. military to modernize its weaponry. We’ve sent an additional $30+ billion in budget support, $75 billion in ancillary appropriations related to war. ~50,000 Ukrainians have died defending their homeland, protecting U.S. and Western interests in the process. Meanwhile, the U.S. President and V.P. are calling democratically-elected Zelenskyy a dictator and berating him in Oval Office in pursuit of a financial payoff. The U.S. should be thanking Ukrainians, who have fought for our common interests with only modest financial support from a country with a ~$30 trillion GDP. America can and will reclaim its backbone again soon, with better policy and messaging from common sense moderates. Slava Ukraina.
