@Lets_Go_Flyers @HendrixHockey_ No bubble this year and he has 17 goals in 64 games w/ over 20 minutes TOI. I see your point, but comparing their rookie years is very reasonable.

@HendrixHockey_ Bedard missed a bunch of games with a broken jaw then had to play in a bubble for a month. Context bro.

@DanielPink Thank you! You mention two other lists to go along with the “to do” list. The first is “to don’t”. What is the 2nd one? Thanks again.

Flyers Head Coach John Tortorella called Guy Gaudreau and asked him to come to and help coach practice today as a way to support the Gaudreau family. I hope we see even more of Guy with hockey supporting the Gaudreau family.

@88EricLindros Would pay anything to watch you play with these new rules! No hooking, clutching, holding. I don’t think you would have been stoppable. Thanks for the great memories!!!👍

@JimGrandi *That would have otherwise disappeared. The argument you made was the amount that went to pay staff... Not guessing, after the fact, which jobs/sectors would have survived without it. The PPP program was silly. They should have sent money directly to people. They didn't.

@T4YPodcast Thanks. But this looks like an accounting site to inform how businesses should report (noting the date). The initial rollout was in the form of a loan. Correct?

@JimGrandi Forgivable loan which is the same as a grant, if you worked within the parameters. Take your pick of opinions below... Private or public sector. This isn't difficult to understand.

@T4YPodcast When PPP was rolled out, it was applied and accepted as a “loan” not a grant. When you applied, did your paperwork say grant or loan?

@JimGrandi Business accepted a grant to keep the economy afloat while being forced to cease operations. Students accepted loans that they knew they had to repay, and not even have BK as an escape route, in exchange for an item of personal value. No hypocrisy, contract literacy.

@T4YPodcast What makes you think I am not a business owner? I am not disagreeing w/PPP at that time. I don’t agree that people cry foul against loan forgiveness when they received some sort of forgiveness as well, regardless of the intent going into it. Borders on hypocrisy.

@JimGrandi You would benefit from reading the PPP literature that was sent to business owners. I know those on the left are always and only Lazer focused on workers but allowable expenses for keeping the businesses afloat was also the goal.

@T4YPodcast How many businesses broke even or lost money? Can you share that data? Not the same thing as SLF. But it’s still taxpayers giving money out that was forgiven. Whatever wasn’t spent on employing workers, should have been sent back. Not given away.

@JimGrandi Numbers are incorrect. But, the PPP loans had specific parameters that responsible people agreed to before accepting. Specific overhead items were also allowed expenditures which will help you fill some gaps in your numbers. Still not at all comparable to cancelling student debt.

@T4YPodcast Research has shown that $4 of taxpayer money went to $1 for employee wages and benefits. Where did the other $3 go?

@JimGrandi Gov: Dear businesses, we are in a hell of a mess... Please do not let go of your staff even though we are telling you to close and you have no income as it will collapse the econ. Please accept this loan/grant to keep them onboard and we'll forgive the amount in the end.

@T4YPodcast I never argued the spirit of the loan. But every single business owner, CEO, etc… I have ever spoken to, has profited. Do you know one that broke even or lost?

@T4YPodcast We have had this discussion before. Nothing is apples to apples. But PPP was a loan. It was forgiven. No need for the PPP martyrs to act like they didn’t make out financially.

@JimGrandi Do you not see the vast difference between PPP and a college loan agreement? If you do not, I'll educate you. If you do and you're being snarky, I will not waste my time.👍

@pitp23_kim @SNYRangers I don’t think he is looking to hurt people. If he is adjusting, good for him. He is an exciting player to watch. Just don’t want him to get famous for actions that will shorten his career.

@JimGrandi @SNYRangers They already have which is why u haven’t seen him do anything wrong since the suspension. And he only had ONE illegal hit. Not his fault he’s huge-there’s nothing illegal about that. Just has to learn proper hitting for his size. But he’s not intentionally looking to hurt people.

Brendan Smith on Matt Rempe: "I've seen other guys go down this route. [Like Raffi Torres], if you continue to hit people [late & high], your suspensions continue to climb & then you find yourself not playing. There's a little bit of maturing for him, but he's doing a good job"

Nikki Haley is an establishment war mongering pawn politician. Precisely the type of people we need out of government, not in the top job. After a major defeat today, the money dries suddenly and she will drop. #SouthCarolinaPrimary
