2/2 as the cricket club which can’t raise a side. A week away from a cricket World Cup, what does this say about the dominance of football to the exclusion of other sporting opportunities?

@sportsagentspod Hi @GabbyLogan and @markchapman. My son’s U13 cricket match has been cancelled because the opposition can’t raise a team. Ironically this frees him up to play in a pointless post-season football match against a team from the same town… 1/2

@HMRCcustomers Hi - I tried that yesterday, and tey told me they couldn't get access to the letter, and that I needed to call the helpline - the one which then hung up on me after an hour. Open to any other suggestions you have though :-)

@HMRCcustomers Morning - OK, it just happened again. I answered some questions the auto prompt asked, only to find out the helpdesk is closed until September 4th, and be hung up on. Again. Please advise how I can request the letter to be resent. And don't say "write a letter".

@JimRice73 You will need to contact the helpline again and they can make a request for the letter to be re issued. Amandine

@HMRCcustomers The same helpline that went dead on me after holding for 55 minutes? Twice? I think I'll lodge an official complaint - it's likely to be quicker.

I can't get enough of this picture of our MPs meeting Javid. So, so many questions. What on earth is the room they are in for starters? Who keeps a teapot on the shelf like that? What WAS on those two empty shelves? Net curtains? Really? In 2022? Why the bricked up fireplace?
