The Utah Fits All Scholarship program has grown to >14,600 students in year two. A new administrator is overseeing the program w/ a new marketplace that has grown from 85 vendors to 1,300. I asked how the new marketplace is operating through the first half of the year.

NO WEATHER THIS EVENING BECAUSE OF BREAKING NEWS A somewhat active weather pattern will continue to influence Utah over the next few days. Gusty southwest winds will bring critical fire weather conditions to western Utah today, while isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible across northern and eastern Utah tonight into Thursday morning. Cooler temperatures arrive Friday into Saturday, dropping readings to a few degrees below normal, with the Wasatch Front mainly in the 70s. Scattered showers will favor northern and central Utah during this time, especially in the mountains. The Wasatch Front will just see a couple hit-or-miss thunderstorms. Conditions briefly stabilize late in the weekend before another storm system approaches early next week, though the exact track and impacts remain uncertain.

Confirmed and clarified a person of interest is in custody and being questioned

DPS and Gov. Cox just said at a news conference suspect is not in custody and a tip-line has been set up.

DPS confirms they are still searching for Charlie Kirk’s killer. George Zinn is not the shooter but was booked for obstruction of justice. Tip-line being set up.

My son was up near the stage and had just moved back to get in line to debate Charlie Kirk. He said there was one loud gunshot and Kirk’s head flew back. Kids started screaming and running. He is now safe in his apartment. Working to confirm information. If you have kids on campus, tell them to shelter in a safe spot
