I do not care that Hedges is a right handed hitter and that a lefty was in, you do not pinch hit Hedges instead of giving Schneemann a chance with the bases loaded. That was a terrible decision and probably cost them the game. Vogt has made too many mistakes this season.

@AndrewZelman I agree, but you needed a hit in that spot. That still isn’t a massive difference for 1 at bat and to say it probably cost them the game is flat out wrong.

@JimTraineyz It’s a massive difference… Schnee has a career OPS of .667, Hedges has a career OPS of .560. That is the more meaningful stat.

One last mini rant for the night That was the worst experience I have had as a fan at a Guards game, & I’ve been going since before I could walk. Some insane stuff was said, space was not respected, & the crowd, at times, felt as if it was here for something other than baseball
