Bros, be aware of girls who are elite adjacent, looking for a guy to fill the status void in their lives.
Example. A friend went on a few amazing dates with a girl he's super into. Her dad is very successful; she went to an elite boarding school but due to her limited talents, ended up at a crappy state school. Now has a mediocre job. She dumped her ex because he wasn't elite enough, not a guy she can proudly introduce to her family & get her dad's approval that she desperately craves. No doubt she is trying to lock down my friend, already fantasizing about their lives together, having kids who end up going to Harvard/Princeton/Yale.
I warned my friend to not fall for this. There's two optimal choices here. Go for a girl who is actually elite & hence free from status hangovers or a baddie who is not elite but totally self-confident in who she is.
