I have just spoken with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. I expressed France’s full solidarity in the face of the indiscriminate strikes carried out by Israel in Lebanon today, which resulted in a very high number of civilian casualties. We condemn these strikes in the strongest possible terms. They pose a direct threat to the sustainability of the ceasefire that has just been reached. Lebanon must be fully covered by it. I reiterated the need to preserve Lebanon’s territorial integrity and France’s determination to support the efforts of the Lebanese authorities to uphold the country’s sovereignty and implement the Hezbollah disarmament plan.

The same sociopath who threatened to use our military to commit a genocide also threatened to use our military against the Pope. He’s insane. He’s unfit. And he has to be removed from office. Immediately.

NATO's Article 5 has been invoked only once in the alliance's history, in response to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States. But, ok you fucking psycho.

America is now on the clock. We have two weeks to remove Donald Trump from office through the 25th Amendment or impeachment. Not saying that will happen, only saying that a nation with even a shred of decency would get to work on it immediately.

Trump is a terrorist. The news from Tehran is that highways running north from the city of 10 million have had traffic patterns changed so all lanes—on both sides of the road—let innocents flee north to avoid Trump's Reign of Terror. Think of all the kids being traumatized today.

I'm praying that CENTCOM is actually doing what that one retired US general just told the BBC it's doing—namely, rejecting Trump-Hegseth war-crime targets en masse. I'm just not convinced that's what's happening. But for the sake of our country—and Iran—I *dearly* hope it is.

(Be prepared for chatter suggesting Trump was forced to back down due to CENTCOM refusing to commit war crimes by targeting civilian infrastructure in the absence of clear proof of dual use. Is that BBC reporting accurate? We don't know. But that's likely to be the conversation.)
