@SBSSportau reason being, when the video length is just 2 hours, it can ruin a close game, with a few minutes to go you know there is no miracle comeback on the way. The length of the video is in a way a spoiler

@SBSSportau hey, with the WC upcoming just an idea. For all games post group stage, when you upload the replay, can you make the video length for all games 3.5 hours, regardless of if the game goes to ET or pens? Even just a holding screen for 1.5 hours?

The VAR applies the letter of the law to Millar but when a mariners shirt is held in the box absolutely nothing. Why is there no consistency?

Also surely it’s only a matter of years, before artificial intelligence can referee a game of football better than a referee can…

Also time we scraped the 90 minutes per game a game. Change it to 30 minute half’s in professional football. Every time the play stops the clock stops. Change the amount of time a goal keeper can hold the ball from 6 to 10 seconds and police very hard. 1 second over indirect.

The VAR doesn’t need to delve into little known rules that are badly used in the game, just needs to use common sense.

Time to scrap on field reviews of decisions using VAR. Give a highly experienced ref the job of making that call. Scrap the clear and obvious error in favour of common sense. If it was 50/50 go with the refs call, if common sense tells you other wise change the decision.

So although the governing body has shown a complete lack of transparency over what repercussions if any there will be for Tuesday night, it appears that Sean Evans has not been given a game to referee this weekend. #aleague #MCYvCCM
