North Carolina is losing over $5 billion dollars a year because we don't have sufficient child care for working parents. That's unacceptable. I'm grateful that the new budget includes funding for one of the top policy recommendations by the Task Force on Child Care and Early Education. While there is always more work to do, these investments will help more North Carolina families access quality child care.

I remember last year‘s trading deadline. Outside of maybe Soto, the lefty, the other guys Hemsley and Taylor were abysmal. Needed starting pitching. That might’ve gotten them over the hump and into the playoffs, not that they would have gone anywhere. Good thing we are selling this year.
