Over my 53 years in business and ministry, the most unteachable group I've encountered is pastors. They feign humility from the pulpit but rarely listen to anyone except pastors of larger churches, and even then, only from a distance concerning church growth. This isolation.... often leads to hidden sin that grows in darkness. How do I know? Been there done that.

An example of a lie told today. Sean Feucht claims he was firebombed in a church (image 1). He boasts that they just kept worshipping anyways! One commenter is skeptical. What REALLY happened (image 2) looks more like he had a gender reveal party. Somebody tossed a smoke bomb on the stage and he LOVED it, asking for people to get a picture of it. Lying to financial donors in ways that make them think you are more heroic than you are is a serious problem. Lying is often a pattern. A man who lies like this makes you wonder what else he lies about.
