Whoop is great because it counts getting on the beers for what it is: serious exercise that requires dedication and focus.

I have just discovered that Xfinity, despite correctly listing my name on their account page, have been inexplicably issuing invoices to me under the name "James Rking On".

Well--well look. I already told you: I deal with the god damn Agents so the execs don't have to. I have Agent skills; I am good at dealing with Agents. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?

@zhenthebuilder I’m gonna redefine the SaaS game loading the 1tb opus_4.6_int8.gguf, stolen from the Ant polycule, on my 16gb Mac mini and achieving 0.3 tokens per minute.

@GergelyOrosz The irony is that the average CS degree spends very little time on software engineering fundamentals.

One trend that will likely return in tech, thanks to AI: Increasingly only possible to be hired as a new grad with a CS or similar degree. AI agents render writing code less relevant: but eveything else about building software (aka software engineering fundamentals) more!

In 2024, I got laid off from Xbox/Activision Blizzard and it broke my heart. In 2025, I worked a fintech job that wanted to promote me by working 4 days in office to 5. I said no thanks, and interviewed with 6 companies at the same time and chose Replit. I’ve discovered a new love of vibe coding and greater appreciation for software and AI. I’ve made my personal website, a PC component graphic, and an app for work. Tinkering with streaming tools and games now. I have so many ideas cooking for 2026 and my team has been awesome. It’s truly been a pleasure to be at Replit. LMK if you want a referral :) I’m so happy I got laid off Xbox!

@powerbottomdad1 Requiring a subdivision to seek some external investment means that they need to convince non-affiliated people that there is opportunity there (and that they have a chance at realizing it), rather than just treating Alphabet as an unlimited feeding trough.
