Anthony Chiang says Miami could shift their focus on keeping flexibility for 2027 if they don’t land a star this summer😬
“Pat Riley made that clear. That 2027 cap space — they like that flexibility, I don’t think they’re going to make a trade just to get incrementally better that’s going to take away cap space in 2027. They’re going to go after Giannis — they’re going to go after any other star that’s available…if they don’t get any of those guys, I would not be surprised if they wait until 2027 and keep that flexibility…”

- bring back Powell and Wiggins on a one year deal

The Heat could still build a premium Giannis package with pick 13, future 1sts, swaps and young talent, per @Anthony_Chiang — by drafting for the Bucks and finalizing after the draft.
That way, Antetokounmpo could land in Miami after Draft night in the coming weeks.

The Miami Heat could select a player for the Bucks at pick 13 in a ‘prearranged trade’ for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
This means the Heat and Bucks could agree to terms prior to the draft, but won’t be made ‘official’ until after the draft if it involves the 13th pick.
