They book a regular Uber, show up with FIVE people, and then start the waterworks: 'we're small,' 'we're underage,' 'past curfew,' 'my phone's dying,' 'my dad only had six bucks.' The driver? Absolute legend. Keeps it calm, professional, and firm: 'It's for four people, not five. I ain't getting a ticket or losing my license for y'all.' Her physical state was so compromised that the officers had to terminate the tests for her own safety before placing her under arrest. ​Back at the station, Isabella blew a .212%—nearly three times the legal limit of .08%. Despite the high BAC and the clear bodycam evidence, the legal system offered a bit of a break. Isabella Kate K. eventually reached a plea deal. ​The Charge: Originally charged with OVI (Operating a Vehicle Impaired). ​The Sentence: She pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of Reckless Operation. ​The Penalty: She was ordered to pay a fine (approx. $400 + costs), received a suspended 30-day jail sentence, and was required to complete a driver intervention program.

While approaching the fence line to check if the home was in danger, two dogs crawled under the fence and attempted to attack him. The officer fired two shots from his service pistol, striking one dog. The injured dog fled, and the second dog continued to approach. Bodycam footage was activated after the shots and shows part of the encounter. The dog’s owner later told the chief that “everyone around here knows my dogs will bite” and that the officer should have taken a bite instead of shooting. Chief Joe Keegan reviewed the footage and ruled the officer’s actions legal and appropriate. The dog ultimately required euthanasia.

Heustis responding to a "harassment" call at Carolina Couture. The "harassment" in question?
