Honestly makes a lot of sense.
Like all you can get from these modes are common level salvage. Like the PEAK loot you get is, at best, green salvage/mod/valuable/backpack.

If a less rewarding and somewhat limited PVE mode is what it takes to get people on Marathon, I would be fine with it. I'm thinking something along the lines of Sea of Thieves' Safer Seas mode if anyone is familiar with that. Something to better ease players into the game so it's not so daunting at first.
