Is it crazy to say that I don't like it when people come to stream and tell me that they regret opening my stream even as a joke? Or say things along the lines of it would be kind of funny if I disappeared?

@Sebbywebz See, this is where you are wrong. We should have expected this "Remake" to not be a "Remake" once we found out Nomura-san was in charge. He gave us many hints early on that this wasn't going to be a real "Remake"... especially when he was like "I like the name Remake, it suits what I am trying to do"... as in, Sephiroth Remaking the storyline! He was being too god damn literal and we all missed it! Lol
Especially when there was no "Part 1" or "Episode 1" in the name... we should have all figured it wasn't gonna be a real Remake.

FF7: Remake is not a remake For lack of a better word, it’s a “Remakequel” or “Sneakquel” (A Sequel disguised as a Remake) But it’s even worse than that: FF7R seeks to combine the original Final Fantasy 7 (1997) with all the poorly-written spinoff media that came years after. The result is a Frankenstein’s abomination of a game that has no respect for the player's time The devs won’t be clear about what FF7R is (from what I’ve seen). Not even the die-hard fans can get their stories straight. It could involve time travel, it could be an alternate timeline. No one knows for sure, and no one can agree FF7R will go down in history as the ultimate example of how not to remake a game, and how not to treat your audience

@Sebbywebz I assume they changed this scene for esrb reasons, at least the actual death part. Either way changing one of the most iconic scenes in gaming to be worse is definitely a choice and lack of understanding of their own legacy.

@Sebbywebz Honestly I wouldn’t doubt if a lot of people only watch the game for the cutscenes due to the simple fact that they love ff7 but didn’t want this combat. Even if the combat was fun, there’s probably a lot of people who skip because they just don’t like action games.
