Ended up taking home 1st place prize for Best Project Upgrade at @SensAIHackademy @frontiertower SF hackathon with my team this past weekend. Had a lot of fun hacking and embracing the Samurai theme of the hack, got to do some sword performances and even some sword training where I took on the role of Sensai.

@_SpyDtroid_ I learned how to do Clouds pose IRL with an 8lb buster sword (actually very heavy)... it is actually hard to do without killing yourself!

This is such neat little detail but I love that Cloud and Aerith do their victory animations from the original game!!

@_SpyDtroid_ Emerald should be easy.. I never beat Ruby, I think u need the Strategy Guide to really beat it.

Should I go back to OG FF7 and beat Emerald and Ruby Weapon? I know I finished the game already, but it feels like I didn’t *truly* beat the game without taking up the extra challenge to beat them 😭 Is it even worth it?

@jmdagdelen Dang... we were thinking like 300 units in the early days, and that was if, you had some big media sponsors cover it... did any of the big influencers you reached out to ever cover it? I dont recall seeing anything.

🚨 To everyone who reached out about the Meta layoffs, thank you. My immediate team was affected, and I am fortunate to still be at Meta, but I do feel that survivor guilt, which is now the second time I’ve had this experience. Where do I stand? I am extremely sad for those who were let go, people I truly value and respect, all of them extremely talented. We are living through very strange times in tech, with so many things changing so fast. @Sebbywebz I was hoping FF7REMAKE would be open world GTA-style in Midgar... especially since it just focused on Midgar, would have been dope. Could add multiplayer and make a whole thing out of it. Grand Theft Mako Reactor 7
