Ended up taking home 1st place prize for Best Project Upgrade at @SensAIHackademy @frontiertower SF hackathon with my team this past weekend. Had a lot of fun hacking and embracing the Samurai theme of the hack, got to do some sword performances and even some sword training where I took on the role of Sensai.

@G4IJIN_VR The most culturally impactful media around VR typically abstracts the headset away as much as possible. Matrix: total consciousness/brain control Ready Player One: almost entirely immersed Blade Runner 2049: Memory makers create memories in full-room volumes.

VR would be more appealing as a drug than a headset.

@Sebbywebz See, this is where you are wrong. We should have expected this "Remake" to not be a "Remake" once we found out Nomura-san was in charge. He gave us many hints early on that this wasn't going to be a real "Remake"... especially when he was like "I like the name Remake, it suits what I am trying to do"... as in, Sephiroth Remaking the storyline! He was being too god damn literal and we all missed it! Lol Especially when there was no "Part 1" or "Episode 1" in the name... we should have all figured it wasn't gonna be a real Remake.

“Remake” doesn’t mean “Meta Sequel” or “Multiverse Spinoff” Everyone knows this. The only people who disagree are FF7R fans I’m not saying you can’t like it for what it is. I hope you enjoy Revelation o7 But imagine the reception if Blizzard, Ubisoft or EA pulled a bait-n-switch stunt like this 💀
