Apple has become the new Samsung. They have a device at every $200 price increment now. "For just $200 more, you can have ..." That's the point.

What is your opinion on runners at a race who cheer for everyone? On course, "way to go", "keep it up", "good job"? Helpful, or not so much?

@durreadan01 I think if they make the keyboard pop up when you click the search at button automatically will avoid you to go to reach top so hopefully they will figure it out since when people press button search icon they kinda want to write something for sure

I personally think it’s a downgrade. While you can still access the search keyboard without having to reach the top — by just tapping the search icon twice — the full search bar at the bottom in 26.3 just looked fresh and was a bigger, more intentional tap target.

@ndp405 @Brady_H It drops HRV but is because days are shorter and is usually seasonal shift of HRV and HR :) not related with stress but more with cold and shorter days of winter and then sunny days and longer which help but ofc it depends on where you live

@Jmap42591 @Brady_H Does this throw off your HRV in the winter because it thinks you’re stressed? It did for me. Basically when the time changes in the fall my HRV drops for the next 4 months or so.

I too enter a state of torpor every night.

@m_franceschetti @garrytan To be fair everyone can ship but the amount of sloppy vibe coded apps are ruining customer experience and will hurt long term for sure when people get tired of deal with issues and the same overall sloppy feeling, those small details is where companies like Apple will succeed

AI killed the execution bottleneck. Everyone can ship now. That makes taste the only remaining moat, and taste doesn't scale with compute. The technical bar is gone, but the design bar has never been higher.
