Besides, what Europe already spends is more than enough. Russia is basically a gas station with the GDP of Italy — let us not forget that.

I do not want to spend 5% on defense. More weapons have never automatically meant more peace and, quite frankly, there is no real European defense project, no plan for an autonomous European defense, and no genuinely humanitarian foreign policy. What we are seeing instead is continued alignment with the old Euro-Atlantic axis.
Moreover, I find it morally unacceptable to spend billions on arms while hundreds of thousands of people live in social exclusion.
Wars are paid for by the poorest, not by political and economic elites.

Here's some fun math while Marathon is being absolutely dog walked by Destiny 2 on a holiday weekend, on Steam. Why? Because the actual numbers are MUCH WORSE than this! 60-70% of all Destiny 2 players are on Console 67% of all Marathon players are on Steam Concurrently, more people played Destiny 2 (18.5K) on Steam today vs Marathon (11.4K). That means approximately: 46,000 were on Destiny 2 16,000 were on Marathon YIKES!? Tell me again why Sony chose Marathon over Destiny 2?
