No the vet doesn’t get freebies but the cops have a duty to de escalate. Lots of missed opportunities and instead the cop just gets irritated and escalates. Cop isn’t “wrong” but arresting the guy and making him miss his flight? Call him a dumbass and get the tab paid. Suspect was being a dipshit but the cop could have got the tab paid. I didn’t get the impression he was being evasive but blitzed and delusional. Cop just wanted an excuse to fuck someone over and this guy gave it to him. Neither party is “right”
