Ausar and Amen could both not get better at a singular thing from here on out, and they’d both be 8+ year starters on contenders. One of them just finished top-3 in DPOY, the other likely will make his second all-defense team, and both their impact metrics scream top-40 player.

@zariqxavier I've been from Australia to Detroit like 5 times to watch the Pistons. It's a cool city and I love the team, even if most of the last 15 years have been pain. Don't need a check to come to that conclusion..... In saying that, the bank is open

This is so fucking stupid
Tom came to Detroit for like 48 hours in 2023 for the first time simply to watch the Pistons in real life. Amidst their losing streak season. He has been an online Pistons fan forever.

This is a play to get white people to feel “comfortable” with Detroit again. They couldn’t use a white person in this role because that gives colonization automatically, so they use a model minority as a bridge to further gentrification. It’s so interesting to watch.
