Duncan Robinson has been great tonight. 19 points, five 3-pointers. It’s all been needed.

Sasser has been battling a hip issue for a long while now. Hopefully this errs more on the side of caution than anything else.

Pistons win the 3rd quarter 41-27. Not a coincidence that they only turned the ball over three times in the quarter. Jalen Duren is getting whatever he wants. He’s got 27 points on 10-11 FG, 7-7 FTs in 27 minutes. Dominating.

13 turnovers committed by the Pistons in the first half. It’s been a struggle for Detroit in that department without Cade Cunningham.

The Pistons are really struggling to manufacture offense right now. It’s a massive struggle on that end of the floor.

Caris LeVert and Kevin Huerter is not enough ball-handling on the court for Detroit. Understand that Cade isn’t available, but need to have an additional guard out there between Daniss, Sasser, and even Ausar.

All the starters are back for Detroit tonight, besides Cade. Isaiah Stewart remains out as well.

Detroit Pistons two-way player Isaac Jones has been named the Kia NBA G League Player of the Month for games played in March.

Pistons injury report against the Thunder tonight still looks pretty bleak: Jalen Duren, Tobias Harris, and Duncan Robinson are all doubtful. Ausar Thompson questionable. Obviously Isaiah Stewart and Cade Cunningham obviously still out.

Michigan’s guard play feels like it’s reached another level in the tourney, which is huge after the loss of Cason. Cadeau, Gayle, and McKenney have all had great moments.

Pistons running in transition in a 4-on-3. Caris LeVert holds onto the ball too long and losses his dribble, turning it over. 16 turnovers for the Pistons through three quarters.

After a bit of a shaky start to the third quarter by the Pistons, Ausar Thompson just created a mini-run of his own to get Detroit back going. An offensive rebound putback, steal, and layup. Sandwiched between Thompson’s buckets was a Duncan Robinson 3-pointer.

Pistons have been beyond careless with the basketball in the first half. 11 turnovers already. Turnover bug seems to be biting Detroit a bit more as of late.

Some really nice needle-threading passes by Jalen Duren in this second quarter.

Kevin Huerter continues to impress as a valuable addition to Detroit’s rotation. He’s got a seven points in five minutes off the bench so far.
