Judge Nicholas Rowland said he wanted to “avoid criminalising these children unnecessarily” and focus on their “reintegration into society.” The victims? Completely betrayed by the system. This is what happens when judges prioritize rapists over justice. Disgusting. The UK justice sytem is completely broken!

😁 A lovely town, I know it well, went to college there a million years ago and grew up just over the border into the city. I haven't been back for a couple of years, but the city does seem sadder - even Newcastle seemed to have lost a bit of its shine. I popped into Shelton - well !!!! No need to say anything about that replica of another continent! The road layout doesn't help either and seems to get more confusing every time I go. 🤣 I was glad Labour got kicked out a few years ago because they've taken the city for granted over the past many decades. Sadly I hear it reverted to the Labour fold at the last GE.

TRANSLATION: "Every country except Britain is allowed to have its own culture & if you don't accept this form of racial prejudice, you're racist." There is no permutation of organised 'far-right' presence in Britain today that is as dangerous, divisive & discriminatory as this.

@andsjam @ikeijeh Sounds lovely. My heart bleeds for Stoke, everything which made it the city centre stripped away and relocated up Hanley and Hanley is floundering, went up Wednesday and it was eerie. I'm the next door neighbour, the fur coats no nickers Borough Town. Lol.

According to him, it seems Britain is one of the youngest nations in the world, having only existed for 70 years! No wonder some are turning to hard forms of ethno-nationalism! His view of history is decidedly myopic. The first world war involved the entire empire. Indian troops fighting in France for instance. The difference is no mass migration after that so it's too long ago and doesn't fit the narrative. I walk around parts of Glasgow and we don't see some groups coming together, we see some living completely separate lives. In my home city in North Staffs, that separation for some immigrant communities is writ large. Statements like his serves to undermine us all getting on with each other. It pushes ethnic Brits further into their own corner.

@Stopworkplacebu To numerous to note. Collectively, April 2012 to Oct 2022, making the warehouse staff, work unpaid over time,max 2 hrs. So,the hours worked were given back as extra holidays. Twice I said, being made to work extra neans, we weren't being paid the minimum wage.
