Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be celebrating their nuptials with about 1,000 guests this holiday weekend in New York City after days of speculation about the most anticipated celebrity wedding of the year, according to sources. These types of charitable donations are nothing new for Taylor Swift. She routinely donated to food banks and hunger relief orgs in cities on the Eras Tour.

A man wearing a shirt bearing the words “Taylor Swift Carpenters” was part of the crew unloading equipment off of trucks and into Madison Square Garden Tuesday. Two law enforcement sources told CBS News that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce plan to host two wedding-related events at the Garden over the Fourth of July weekend.

MORE TAYLOR NEWS w/ @REspositoNYC: Guests lucky enough to be among the 1,000 people attending the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding celebration on Friday will be treated to cocktails on the 6th floor concourse of Madison Square Garden at 4pm (doors open at 3:30p.m.), a ceremony on the arena floor scheduled for 5:30p.m. and then a reception set to start at 6:30p.m. that will go until 2a.m., according to two law enforcement sources familiar with the event’s security who noted the exact times are subject to change.    The event will feature other musical talent, and the couple is building a massive set inside the arena for the event.  Guests will be entering the Garden via a special VIP area that will be covered with a tent, the sources said.   And if you’re one of the 100 or so family, friends and VIPs attending the rehearsal dinner the night before at 6p.m. on Thursday evening, you’ll be treated to dinner at the Infosys theater, located inside Madison Square Garden, and the evening festivities are scheduled to go until 10:30p.m. the sources said.   The New York City Police Department is preparing to handle the extra traffic (including roughly 500 vehicles expected Friday), security, media, fans, and paparazzi that comes with an event like this. The couple has also hired private security.
