Anyone else notice this little Easter Egg? How long have you been able to "mention a formula variable" in confirmation messages, and how does it work? Currently, adding an "@" within the text box doesn't work the same way when doing it in the Editor. @NotionHQ

I could take my @NotionHQ templates to the next level if their buttons had a bit more functionality. My top wish? The ability to fill in properties using a formula or by selecting values directly from the current page. I'd love to be able to do something like this 👇

Thought of another one! The ability to select 'this page' when filtering which pages to edit! For my timesheet template, this would allow multiple people to log time simultaneously, instead of the current workarounds where only one task can be recorded at a time.

In this case, I'm building a template in an enquiries database with a button to create a new quote. Ideally, the customer in the quote database should be auto-filled from the enquiries database, but right now you have to manually select the customer

@farez @dougsirkoch @NotionHQ Yes it's easier to have a button to set tasks to done, rather than dragging it to the hidden done column. Plus the button also gives the record a completed date. So we can have a view of tasks completed this week. We've also started playing around with recurring tasks.

@dougsirkoch @NotionHQ Yes, keep it simple and automate everything. E.g. I avoid subtasks. BTW this "Set do Done" button is prob the best thing I've used. @JoLodge01 is the Notion expert that set this up for us.

@NotionMolly I show everything in my videos and have an accompanying blog which you can copy and paste the code from. People still buy the templates, I think because they are business-focused templates. So it's more cost-effective to buy the template than do it yourself.

🤯Looks like Notion's new formulas are more powerful than I initially thought...mainly because they can replace the need for rollups...I think. So will spend this week learning all I can...will post anything useful I come across!
