@ProtectTheWild_ Ripping out hedgerows doesn’t just wipe out habitat – it strips communities of daily contact with nature. That disconnection fuels poorer mental/physical health while wildlife pays the price. Once green space is gone, both people and ecosystems suffer. 🌱💔

@Wakethefitup The shipping in of illegal migrants are the governments' cherry on the top.

@theleftbible You're totally naive if you think the NHS is independent of any private intervention.🙄
My local 'NHS' community hospital is run by a private company on behalf of the NHS.
The NHS pays for patient treatment at specialist clinics – eg eye/AMD treatment at NewMedica clinics.

If you’re longing to feel like yourself again, take heart. You don’t need to overhaul your life to reconnect with who you are. Sometimes, the most powerful changes come from the gentlest tweaks.

@SocialistNHS And represent their constituents, not foreign interests. They should not be allowed to take money from lobbyists, even if it is 'declared'.

Our inner critic loves to show up when we’re tired, snappy, or forgetful. But guilt rarely leads to real change.
Instead, try replacing judgment with curiosity. Ask: ‘What do I need right now?‘. A sip of water? A deep breath? A slow 10 minute walk?

@DarrellWakelam Absolutely! Not all kids like to draw and are happy to scribble. So long as my kids made some marks on it I was happy! Similar to these, although these are more sophisticated.

@JoSaxtonHealth I saw something recently like this that looked quite promising, a long 'scroll' of some sort of material that turned dark when you painted on it with water, allowed kids to at least do what 'they' wanted? 🤔
English

@DarrellWakelam Yay!
I remember my toddlers had one of those mats that would turn blue if you used a 'magic' tool to write or draw on. You know the one I mean?

@JoSaxtonHealth Yes Jo! 😆😆😆 I’m losing this battle I think, glad you’re with me. 👍😆

@BarristerSecret Is that because not all crimes even get to court?

@rumilyrics I'm a health coach – and, yes, quite often! One of my first questions to a new or potential client is 'Do you want to feel better'? Sounds glib, but it makes them realise how 'comfortable' they've become with their false identity, resulting in a positive shift towards healing.
English

@SallyDMarshall No, it doesn't matter. I'd view it in a more positive way – they're not your tribe, so they've saved you time and effort which you can then put to good use elsewhere. 💚💪

@NickBuckleyMBE This is appalling! For some, moving outdoors in the fresh air and growing their own food is a vital connection to nature – as well as to their neighbours.

Once the allotments are gone - they are never coming back.
The youth club I founded had one and the kids loved it.
Why do governments sell off what we own? They are custodians, not the owners.
Bernie@Artemisfornow
🚨 Angela Rayner has given councils permission to sell off allotments to raise money. 8 sell offs of ancient rights have happened so far, including to build houses. The history of allotments goes back to the 1500s and is tied deeply to land access, food security, and social reform, it’s an ancient right. It’s the bedrock of the right to grow your own food on shared land. But Labour doesn’t care about citizens’ rights…. Not even our ancient ones 🔥
