Hi, I’m Jo. I help people feel better in their body, mind, and life. I help you navigate modern stress, screen overload, feeling disconnected from your natural rhythm, energy, or sense of calm. Small, simple shifts – movement, breath, nature, laughter – so you feel more like you.

@ProtectTheWild_ Ripping out hedgerows doesn’t just wipe out habitat – it strips communities of daily contact with nature. That disconnection fuels poorer mental/physical health while wildlife pays the price. Once green space is gone, both people and ecosystems suffer. 🌱💔

Persimmon Homes gets green light to rip out 120m of hedgerows at Ilminster nature reserve, paving the way for 360 homes, despite concerns over wildlife loss and damage to protected green space.

The bloodthirsty freaks have killed another poor stag. Devon and Somerset Staghounds chased him for newly 5 hours and killed him when he couldn't go on. Beyond horrible

Most cities in the UK now have food banks & homeless people & boarded up windows & pawn shops & loads of litter...this is the effect of 14yrs of Austerity, this is Tory Britain, it's STILL their mess & it stinks...so don't blame the EU or migrants, blame the real culprits.

In what world can sitting peacefully in parliament Square be considered terrorism? This is insane. This is state coercion and control. This is dictatorial. This is fascistic. Shame on Labour. Shame on the Met.

@theleftbible You're totally naive if you think the NHS is independent of any private intervention.🙄 My local 'NHS' community hospital is run by a private company on behalf of the NHS. The NHS pays for patient treatment at specialist clinics – eg eye/AMD treatment at NewMedica clinics.

If you’re longing to feel like yourself again, take heart. You don’t need to overhaul your life to reconnect with who you are. Sometimes, the most powerful changes come from the gentlest tweaks. Read my tips in the latest blog post: josaxtonhealth.com/2025/08/04/how… Jo 💚 #mentalhealth

This field will be harvested very soon. All across the country, farmers are working round the clock every single day to harvest the food we eat. What they do to provide our food should be given so much more recognition by the public & also the government. No farmers, no food.

Our inner critic loves to show up when we’re tired, snappy, or forgetful. But guilt rarely leads to real change. Instead, try replacing judgment with curiosity. Ask: ‘What do I need right now?‘. A sip of water? A deep breath? A slow 10 minute walk? josaxtonhealth.com/2025/08/04/how…

@JoSaxtonHealth I saw something recently like this that looked quite promising, a long 'scroll' of some sort of material that turned dark when you painted on it with water, allowed kids to at least do what 'they' wanted? 🤔

@DarrellWakelam Yay! I remember my toddlers had one of those mats that would turn blue if you used a 'magic' tool to write or draw on. You know the one I mean?

I prosecute and defend the most serious sexual offences in our courts. The overwhelming majority of offenders are British-born. Overwhelmingly the victim is someone known to them, either a partner or relative. Anybody purporting to care about protecting women might start there.

@rumilyrics I'm a health coach – and, yes, quite often! One of my first questions to a new or potential client is 'Do you want to feel better'? Sounds glib, but it makes them realise how 'comfortable' they've become with their false identity, resulting in a positive shift towards healing.

@SallyDMarshall No, it doesn't matter. I'd view it in a more positive way – they're not your tribe, so they've saved you time and effort which you can then put to good use elsewhere. 💚💪

Have you been locked out of a networking group? We have by a potential conflict but why? Everyone has something different to offer and people buy people. If they don't like you, they probably won't buy from you! So does it matter?

@NickBuckleyMBE This is appalling! For some, moving outdoors in the fresh air and growing their own food is a vital connection to nature – as well as to their neighbours.

Tens of thousands of cornflowers in a field in Wicken. Research shows that the sight of them will help you recover from sources of stress more quickly & boost dopamine release in your brain, lifting your mood…in case you need it just now:
