If you love the work Jobs Now is doing to expose hidden jobs for American workers, we would welcome your support below. We are hesitant to explicitly ask for support, but we hear a lot of requests to add new geographic areas- with you support, we can make this happen!

@AHumbleFarm Appreciate your support! We have a donation page here for those who can afford it - much appreciated as we currently lose money running the site buymeacoffee.com/jobsnow

Well this is a new one... was looking into this listing and this company just posts their LCA listings publicly on their website! They also have their jobs listed on the website but still require mailed applications - guess they don't have email in the wilds of Exton, PA.

No, not billboards Beyond newspapers (mandatory) they also have to pick 3: •Job fairs •Employer website •Job search websites (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) •On-campus recruiting •Trade or professional organizations •Private employment firms •Employee referral programs with incentives •Campus placement offices •Local/ethnic newspapers •Radio/TV ads

When you see an ad like this one EA Games ran in the SF Chronicle with "multiple positions" available- Did you know they can sponsor visas for dozens of engineers based on this one ad? and they didn't even post the job on their website.

There's not a single entry level developer anywhere in the country available for work according to Optimuss Inc., "a rapidly growing minority-owned small business and graduated SBA 8(a) program participant, in Ashburn, Virginia". Unfortunately Optimuss' vaunted IT experience either does not include email which is why they are asking applicants to apply by email or they are deliberately attempting to prevent workers from applying!

Utah, look at this. While Utah kids graduate with tech and engineering degrees and struggle to find work in their own state, FedEx just posted a “Strat Int Sys Engineer” job in Salt Lake City, Utah, and it’s tagged right there for H-1B and F-1 OPT visa holders. Go to migratemate.co right now. This entire website was built from the ground up to give certain H-1B visa applicants every single advantage possible. • 500,000+ “verified” visa-sponsorship jobs • Easy search & filter so foreign applicants only see companies that will sponsor them • “Special Offer: 30 Day FREE Trial” • “Get Access Today” so they can land their “dream job” in America before our own graduates even get a fair shot They literally created a dedicated platform to make it faster and easier for non-citizens to take these jobs. And you’re telling me there wasn’t one qualified Utah citizen who could do this FedEx role in our own backyard? This is the H-1B scam in real time, theft of wages, theft of opportunity from Utah families, and flooding our tech corridor with cheap foreign labor while our kids get pushed out. Utah families deserve better. On Day One I’ll push to pause new H-1B visas until the fraud and abuse stop. Americans first. Always.

This isn’t a “talent shortage.” It’s corporate America choosing cheaper imported labor over our own kids graduating from Utah universities. Utah’s Silicon Slopes now has over 3,871 open H-1B sponsorship jobs, mostly on-site in Salt Lake City. University of Utah leads the pack, with major employers like Adobe, Qualtrics, and Intermountain Health regularly sponsoring foreign workers. Utahns built this tech corridor. Our graduates deserve first crack at these high-paying software engineering, healthcare, and life sciences roles, not to train their own replacements while wages stagnate and housing costs soar. As your next Congressman for CD3, I’ll fight to pause new H-1B visas until the fraud ends, require proof no qualified American is available, and put Utah workers first. Utah First means American workers first.

Send info to the @TheJusticeDept and @HarmeetKDhillon so they can get even more money from these companies with even more lawsuits. Like... just make it more expensive to try and hire like this via government litigation than just hiring locals.

Perplexity is running ads in the San Francisco Chronicle this week asking engineers to paper mail their resume to apply Why are big companies like this getting away with this behavior that Facebook already settled with the DOJ for 14M for doing?

@IndianConserva5 @phil_lyman to be clear we think Phil is coming from the right place, just need some more specifics there is a huge lobbying infrastructure that has worked to build the American Immigration Replacement machine for the last 30+ years, there's a lot to understand!

You should be demanding clear statements on American Immigration Replacement from every congressional candidate this year Don’t vote for someone who isn’t clear. Phil’s sentiment seems good, but a bit of feedback: 1. The H1B currently doesn’t require any attempt to find an American to fill the job. Why not just get rid of it? 2. You left out EB visas. This is 120k PERMANENT residents per year, and is the source of the hidden jobs we post 3. what about OPT? Yes, it can be ended by DOL, but until that happens every congressional candidate should be crystal clear they will eliminate this program that gives a tax break to employers to hire immigrants instead of American college grads We’d be happy to endorse any candidate who adopts the jobs Now policy brief as their legal immigration platform.
Just Phil Lyman@phil_lyman

The H-1B visa scam isn’t a “shortage” fix. It’s theft. Stealing wages from American college grads, driving up housing costs in Utah, and pushing our own kids out of the jobs they trained for right here in CD3. As Utah’s next Congressman for CD3, I won’t sit by while Washington and corporate interests flood our tech corridor with cheap foreign labor. On Day One I will push: ✅ An immediate pause on new H-1B, L-1, and H-4 visas until the fraud and wage-suppression abuses are rooted out. ✅ Strict proof that no qualified U.S. citizen or green-card holder is available for the job. No more rubber stamps. ✅ Criminal penalties, visa bans, and deportations for companies and consultants using fake documents or fake “specialty” claims. ✅ Full audits and public transparency on every H-1B employer. No more hidden loopholes or state-sponsored pipelines. ✅ Real reform that prioritizes American workers and truly high-skilled applicants who complement, not replace, our workforce. Utah’s Silicon Slopes was built by Utahns. Our kids deserve those jobs, those wages, and that future. We don’t need more imported labor. We need to protect American jobs, American wages, and American families, starting right here in CD3. Utah First. America First.

@NeoMatrixS this is PERM advertising for EB-2/3 visas, not H1B but we agree DOJ should definitely sue ASU for this discrimination against American workers

@JobsNowPR If we could only have someone in the DoJ prosecute few HR people from a university engaged in H1B visa fraud the practice would stop. Since there are no consequences to the perpetrators, violations will continue.

Guess what, Arizona State University is pulling the same trick paper-mail only applications for a BI analyst in Tempe job not on their career site is this another university PERM labor market test to save a job for an immigrant instead of an American?

Motorola shamefully ran this ad in the Salt Lake Tribune on Sunday, but does not have the job listed on the site advertised! Will this actually qualify as advertising for processing a PERM labor market test and providing a green card to an immigrant taking a US job?
