The health consciousness stuff has gone massively overboard. People walking around with bands tracking their vital signs every second of the day like they’re astronauts on the ISS. Treating alcohol or sugar like it’ll kill them if they look at it. Tracking their sleep. Counting their steps. It’s possible to live a healthy life without being an obsessive, paranoid lunatic. You’re gonna die either way. In a few decades you’ll be just as dead as the rest of us, if not sooner. Relax a little and live your life while you still can.

Parents are BLASTING Old Navy for selling booty shorts to young girls like it’s somehow normal. I wish there was an initiative on X to prevent constant nasty mean comments. I’ve been a lot less active lately because the negativity is very heavy. People should be banned for repeated angry mean comments

@emmysteuer My concern with this would be who gets to determine what is mean and nasty. You can block people that don’t meet your criteria for interacting with.

A Japanese manga artist lost his entire Google account forever after he uploaded private files from an old comic he drew to Google Drive. Google’s AI checked the files and flagged them as not allowed. He asked Google to review it again, but they rejected his appeal and banned the account immediately. He can no longer access years of his private drawings and lost access to many websites and services that used his Google login. The artist said this is very embarrassing and causes him a lot of trouble. He warned that it might not happen to people who always follow every rule, but others should be careful. So Google is scanning files that people upload to its cloud storage even if they are supposed to be private. I wonder how long they have been doing this.
