@JockyUp They are and it's a daft deadline. It'll get taken to CAS by us or Forest. UEFA didn't want that, hence why they were waiting on today.

Can someone, who thinks Palace will get demoted to the Conference League, tell me why they think that? All this result means is that UEFA have to make a decision, and, whatever that decision is, will go to CAS.

@DownToTen UEFA are a world of bureaucrats. Whether we’re in compliance now doesn’t matter. All that matters to them is that we missed their entirely arbitrary deadline of March 1st.

I think we have a very strong case there anyways. Textor didn't have decisive influence. Even if he did, the PL have said they're accelerating Johnson's buyout.

@DownToTen If they finish 6th and they’ve already qualified for UEL by winning Conf then the place drops down. If they finish 1-5 and win the Conf then the UEL place goes elsewhere on coefficient.

Can someone explain to me how option 2 is even possible? If Newcastle finish 7th, they just claim the UECL place they got for winning the League Cup. If Chelsea win the UECL and qualify for UEL, it doesn't pass down the league as far as I'm aware (it goes the coefficient route)
