We are doing an experiment out of Adams Corner comparing seeds treated with #Seed+Graphite, and seeds using conventional talc/graphite. The treated seeds are currently further ahead with a more even emergence. #AgTwitter

@JoeAtVerdesian @iamyourfarmer Thank you Joe. I appreciate it. I haven't been around Seed+Graphite but can see the benefit over straight graphite. Here is some 2022 data from @PrecisionPlant and the label for Stride Bio as well.

Local JD dealer is selling seed+ graphite. My initial reaction is prices are high, so snake oil comes out. That said when prices are high snake oils may have a shot at ROI. Anyone have experience? Becks PFR book basically shows that if there is a respons it’s not significant

@iamyourfarmer @Cetter15 no, not the same, but the best I could do to get a small sample in folks' hands if you do the test, try adding a little stress by not watering for a day or placing near an air conditioner happy to send y'all some, just lemme know

@Cetter15 I have some coming, I got a test kit at JD. But results in a Petri dish vs the field aren’t the same

@iamyourfarmer understand your hesitation -- if you'd like to try some on a few fields let me know, happy to send you some petri dish was the best i could do to show effectiveness. if it didn't work, I wouldn't have mailed 10K demos to farmers the last couple years @ me with questions!!

@iamyourfarmer adam, we've done hundreds of trials across the globe with this technology and VLS liked the prodict so much we purchased the company that makes it really shines thru when seedlings are under some abiotic stressors avg +4 bu/A in corn; +3 bu/A in beans half bushel pays for it
