Pray for Peace. The Middle East is the graveyard of empires. Greece. Rome. Napoleon. UK. Russia. It’s the abyss. Our movement’s precious political resources must be spent on American priorities. Filling the pothole on my street is far more important than making a new pothole in the Middle East. Pray for a deal as Iran negotiates with the U.S. while Trump’s 8pm deadline looms. This is a lesson proven out 100 times over in American political history: Peace wins. War loses. Importantly, our movement should reflect the best of Western civilization and Christendom through the words of Christ: Matthew 5:9 — “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God.”

God specifically endorses individual property rights throughout both the New and Old Testaments. 2. When Christians share their money and belongings in the New Testament, it is descriptive (not prescriptive) and the sharing is voluntary (not compulsory) between individuals. It is not an explicit or implicit endorsement of a system of government. 3. The root origin of the idea of socialism is from godless, authoritarian, humanism. It's water from a poison well. Don't ever say that the Bible endorses socialism. It doesn't.
