Bennet Stirtz is a better shooter than Milan Momcilovic some may say…

@DobzMiles Oh 100% the break on the curveball itself is a concern.

@JoeBuckurself6 well if Joe Buck says so... 😂😂😂
Nah in all seriousness maybe a small part, but these numbers are way to drastic for it to just be the ball

What's made Edward Cabrarea really good with the Marlins is he had great secondary pitches to complement his really good changeup(slider+Curveball)
So far with the Cubs his spin rates are WAYYY down with his slider+curveball, and is really struggling to locate them as there's been many pitches in the dirt
Worried if he's not healthy

Here’s a deeper look at a lot of the MAJOR differences from 2025 Cabrera compared to 2026 Cabrera. Of course there’s some differences, different arm-slot from last year, still getting used to it.
But there are MAJOR concerns here, there were many teams that passed on Cabrera because of his medicals.

@HoernerMVP He’d probably be batting .300 if he was on the Cubs

Caleb Wulf has the highest batting average of any first baseman in the Big Ten (.370).
He’s 14 points higher than anyone on this list.

Maybe this is a hot take, but I don’t think any of these guys should get in first ballot

@TheWrigleyWire Absolutely love it, but dude has so much more in the tank

@ChiSportsFanJoe He has yet to adapt to how pitchers are pitching him now, once he does that then we will see glimpses of that 1st half of 2025.
Even saying that I don’t think he is a good enough hitter to sustain that high level of hitting for over a course of the season.
English

I doubt it as well, but sitting him does no good and I'm sure he's likely (or at least hopefully) spending more time in the cage or watching videos, but I as well as every other Cubs fan wants to see that 1st half of 2025 PCA emerge at the plate and we have yet to see that for a prolonged period of time now.
