We're going to have Joe Kent on @TheYoungTurks on Thursday (show starts at 6PM ET on YouTube, M-F). Today @nytimes confirmed one claim Kent made: "Israeli officials would probably view a failed Iranian state that is too caught up in internal turmoil to menace Israel as a win." In other words, the Israelis are content to create chaos in the Middle East as long as all their neighbors are destroyed. Why? Because they can pick up more territory in the chaos, like they're doing in Lebanon right now. That's a huge problem for us, but a win for them. So, of course, we're doing what's best for them, and not for us.
