@SixoTF Kinda related, from my archives. KO Rollout I got c2004 from a video game arcade place when you exchange tickets won for prizes. Cheap/flimsy plastic, there was a bunch in same 4 colours but positioned differently. Thought at the time they’d make good air rifle target practice…

@BigRedHead82 I would love to see more figures painted in Python Patrol colors, but the vehicle colors. The black with silver mottling with the red cross-hatching.

@BigRedHead82 Catching up on posts. I think that one is more or less what I envisioned, the figure doesn’t have quite enough highlights to make the predominantly black version work as well. I asked both BlackMajor & LadyJaye 2 years ago if ever this idea existed, neither even responded.

@BigRedHead82 Alley Viper fan in general here. Something I find baffling, no customiser I’ve ever seen has done the OG 1989 figure in the Battle Corps black and yellow colours, despite zillions of other colours schemes used for that mold…

From my collection, complete, 1989 Alley Viper v.1. Alley Viper came with an orange and blue face shield, a black rifle, an orange and blue shield, and a black backpack with a removable grappling hook. I always wanted one of these guys as a kid, but it wasn't till 1993, v.2 came out that I got one. I always like the medieval vibe the Alley Viper had with the face shield and large riot shield. The file card reads like I always imagined them. A walking tank, extremely dangerous and hard to take down. Some don't care for the figure due to the bright colors, which is understandable. But these guys aren't built for subtle or silent espionage missions. These guys are meant to be raging bulls in a China shop, loud, brutal, and belligerent. They don't care if you see them coming. Their like a juggernaut. They won't just kick the door. you're hiding behind down with you still behind it. They will bust through the walls. Overall, it is a great figure and worth adding to any collection. @AnchorViper Many examples of Star Wars sound effects in Transformers (and no doubt other cartoons) too. From memory the TIE fighter engine noise was quite often heard when Laserbeak was flying.

day 483 #joeaday Lampreys v1 1985 The Cobra Moray Hydrofoil is amongst the coolest of all G.I. Joe vehicles ever produced. The Lamprey pilot is also pretty cool. 6/10
