@NUFCMurph What about when Palace went out on the piss and played half a team against West Ham? Everyone called it an “opportunity” for West Ham. Can’t have it both ways.

Spurs will absolutely not be in this position next season. Villa have rolled over and handed one of the Sky 6 their survival. Embarrassing.

Tottenham with 37 Injuries: “It’s not our fault we’re getting relegated, look at all our injuries”. Arsenal with 32 injuries: “Injuries are no excuse, you have to win the Prem & Champs double or you’ve bottled it” Meanwhile Tottenhams squad cost more than Arsenals….

@kellios @mionomedev Already answered that in my previous tweet. Frank was too risk averse to use him deeper because he’s young and will occasionally give the ball away. Didn’t play well today, granted. First start in a few months, I believe.

@JoeFish08 @mionomedev If he was a brilliant ball carrier he wouldn’t have been mis profiled all season. Somebody would have figured it out. He played today and didn’t carry the ball brilliantly at all in any part of the pitch. Like I said lots of potential but that’s it.

@kellios @mionomedev Bergvall is a brilliant ball carrier and has been horribly misprofiled all season. He is not a 10 and never will be. He needs to play deeper but none of the managers we’ve had so far this season have been brave enough to risk him there because he’s young and will make mistakes

@mionomedev Bags of potential but offers nothing weekly. Gallagher Gray and Bergvall as a midfield three is terrible. None of them can dribble or tackle or make a meaningful pass forward but yep let’s play all three together.

@poetfish2 Between Bale and Kane we went a decade without selling of note. We were 1-2 players away and few itched for moves. We are miles away now. Some will want out and have no faith in another false promise we can challenge. Keeping them rots the changing room and halts progress anyway.

@JoeFish08 We've been a stepping stone for the last 20 odd years. Keane to Liverpool, Berbatov, Sheringham, Carrick to Man Utd, Kane to Bayern, Bale to Real Madrid etc.etc. The cycle has to be broken. The fan base is there, the stadium is there... we now need owners who want it enough

Actually think this is something Spurs need to accept as a reality, for the next few years at least. If we hold our best players hostage when they have aspirations to play at the highest level which we can’t meet, it will deter the best young talents from joining us. #THFC #COYS
Brightonian@Brightonian_

“Brighton are a stepping stone” So are Spurs. As soon as Modric, Gareth Bale and Harry Kane became world class, they couldn’t hold on to them. You’re Spurs. You’re not in the elite 1%.

The sheer arrogance of this. “…Would take Mitoma at #Spurs” Well of course you would. He’d be your best player? #BHAFC have a better squad than Spurs. And are pound for pound a better club with a better owner in Tony Bloom. But Mitoma has proven he’s not motivated by money by rejecting the Saudi deal. Spurs fans delusion never ceases to amaze me. Always think they’re going to take our best players, our manager. Even when they’re on the precipice of relegation to the Championship…

Would take Mitoma under De Zerbi at Tottenham this summer. Don't really care about age. Good 4 year contract, club needs people of more experienced ages. And also his profile, familiarity, willing to take players on.

@kennycunny @ben_bowman_ We’re currently the worst in the league, struggling to see where the next result comes from (Palace this week maybe?). After international break we get 4-5 players back and would like to think we then have enough to get 2-3 wins and get out of it. But we’ve forgotten how to win

@Kish_P14 @luka_thfc I think there are more creative options than Poch. There are more exciting options too. I don’t see the argument there are more reliable options than Poch? He’s the only manager out there who has proven he can do the job, build a bond with fans, style of play, youngsters etc.

I find the Poch love in very strange I find the constant going back to things in this fanbase strange Redknapp name etc. always brought up, you know how many managers there are in the world that have demonstrated a lot more than Poch has over the last 5 years?

@scrimthfc @4rt_yy @ProudN17 Nobody would disagree with that. Gallagher was the right signing at the wrong time in my opinion but sometimes you have to move when a player is available or risk missing out. Judge the squad balance after summer window.

@JoeFish08 @4rt_yy @ProudN17 Maybe things would be a little better if we signed a midfielder who could pass the ball and play in the pivot

@4rt_yy @ProudN17 It’s not brain dead, Tel is one of the highest thought of young players in Europe. Thinking Gallagher was what we needed is brain dead. We were on here begging for some pass first guy and other fans were coming at us for it. Defending the Gallagher signing.
