Sarah I cry BS (Baloney Slime) You are an average “frugal” tipper. You tip was about 16.5%. I am not wealthy but I know how hard service jobs are. I tip 22-25% everytime unless service is bad. What we don't know in your example is did you get anything “Gratis” from the serveror did you use loyalty points or worse a “coupon”? If so the value of the perks should be added in and you should tip to that value. One more comment, I have read a lot jealous losers commenting that servers tips are tax free so they don't deserve as much tip. I am happy for servers and I will tip well as always, to all of you jealous losers that are not tipping as usual, shame on you!
