Stevie, You stay away from eating out. Stay home. Order your food from yourself, prepare and serve your food to you and maybe your family? Take care of the requests fore more ketchup or Fanta or a dropped spoon. Oh, don't forget, clear the table, do the dishes. Done. Start all over in the morning.

@RjAndrewson @thenewshireboy @saniyafatma1278 So then what makes a busser's job harder than a janitor's job where a tip should be given? Or a worker at McDonald's? Or any other job? Why only food service when all they do is take my order and bring food to me? For "better service"? I'll take the bare minimum.

My husband and I went out for dinner last night. We left a $20 bill on the table as a tip for our $125 bill. The waiter refused to take it and said we shouldn’t go out to eat if we’re not willing to tip at least $50, and now I’m wondering if $20 is enough?

Custom orders of the Tesla Model S & X have come to an end. All that’s left are some in inventory. We will have an official ceremony to mark the ending of an era. I love those cars. This was me at production launch 14 years ago:

Here is final on this silly post from Sara. LOL! People like me. Here is the truth about wait and bus staff. Waiters and busboys are guaranteed to make at least the full federal or state minimum wage, but they often earn it through a combination of a low base "tipped wage" (as low as \(\$2.13\)/hr federally) and tips. If tips do not bring them up to the minimum wage, employers must pay the difference. Huge differences by state. Many employers have chosen to keep tips and just pay the minimum wage. They can roll the tips into parties, split it or pocket it. As of Mar 31, 2026, the average annual pay for a Waiter in Arizona (my state) is $30,617 a year. That works out to be approximately $14.72 an hour. This is the equivalent of $588/week or $2,551/month. It includes tips. Average Earnings: As of March 2026, the average annual pay for a busser is roughly \(\$13.37\) an hour, but this varies based on location and restaurant volume. You do the math on the monthly. So all the Baloney Slime about being overpaid or making enough or I don't know what I am talking about. You are the ones who don't know what your talking about. Just be a decent American and tip good service. All you male and female whining Karens, Stay out the restaurants and eat at home. No one needs you.

@thenewshireboy @RjAndrewson @saniyafatma1278 People like him don't understand that if a server doesn't make enough in tips to reach the minimum federal hourly wage, then that employer is obligated to make up the difference. But because of the tipping culture, I would bet a majority of servers make well above the minimum.
