@KwameBBurner @JoeHassn @beauhightowerdn If you play longer and shoot more shots at a decent clip, that gives you hella more opportunities to raise your shooting percentage right? Try talking shit from a real account instead of throwing rocks and hiding your face, you pussy ass bitch.

He's not a good shooter?? He's over 50 percent from the field for his career and was better overall shooter and from 3 than Jordan AND Kobe

I have LeBron outside my top-10 players of all-time because if you look at his actual SKILL, there’s not all that much there. He doesn’t have a bag, commits a TON of turnovers, and doesn’t shoot well. The ONLY thing for which he gets credit is that he’s good at driving.

@beauhightowerdn He should have a better percentage, he only played 16 more seasons and shot 18,000 more shots than them.

@jordankobewade7 If this is true it’s not cause Michael didn’t want a “free championship”, as if such a thing exists. It would be because MJ was too much of a narcissist to defer to players who were clearly better than him. Missed the playoffs in 2003 cause he wouldn’t defer to Stackhouse. 🤦🏽‍♂️

phil jackson offered mj a spot on the 3 peat lakers in 2001 to mentor kobe. jordan refused bc he didn’t want the easy road and he didn’t want free championships he didn’t earn. he declined and went to the wizards instead, the worst team in the league with zero superstars, bc he wanted to compete against all of them.
RimRunna23@RimRunna23g5h

Jordan was making over $33M in his final season with Chicago, while the entire 1998-99 salary cap was only around $30M. He would’ve had to take a massive pay cut just to join another team, and his ego wouldn’t allow him to not be the highest paid player.

James Worthy says the Lakers were in "misery" before LeBron “I only think about what we were like before LeBron. ... It was misery. We weren’t getting in the playoffs. We weren’t winning. We were trading a lot of players. ... For what he did for LA…I don’t think you can argue.”

A month ago, LeBron James and Joel Embiid met privately in Los Angeles for nearly two hours. LeBron asked Embiid directly about his health heading into the offseason and whether this would be another injury-plagued year. Embiid told him it was the first summer of his career without any surgeries and that he was fully healthy and locked in. That conversation stayed with LeBron. Weeks later, Sixers GM Mike Gansey publicly confirmed Embiid’s status during a press conference: “He has been putting in the work, up 15lbs of pure muscle. Now he’s around 295lbs but 13% body fat. We’re hoping it helps him stay healthy and dominate once again in the paint. He will take it up another level.” Gansey also noted it was the first offseason Embiid was truly healthy going into it and that he was in a “really good space.” Once Embiid’s health checked out, the combination of Embiid, Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and Edgecombe became the clearest option for a final championship run. Fetterman tells Lara Trump he doesn’t understand why he’s so popular with Republicans: I do a lot of the shopping. People will approach me and it's almost uniformly very positive. I can't fully understand—I've seen polling—why I'm so popular with Republicans. I don't really understand that

@JoeHassn @MarcoFoster_ @mehdirhasan The Trump campaign and the RNC publicly announced and implemented a large-scale "election integrity" program for the 2024 election. This included deploying tens of thousands of lawyers, poll watchers, and volunteers to monitor various aspects of the voting process.

@MarcoFoster_ @mehdirhasan The first time, they were convinced Hillary would win, so in their minds a Trump victory wasn’t possible, and they let their guard down. Then they cheated even more. Last - Trump learned the lesson and had an army of people monitoring polling places - pretty simple.

BOMBSHELL 🚨: The 76ers Cannot Actually Sign LeBron James To A 2 Year Deal. Per, @BobbyMarks42 “If you sign a 1-year veteran deal, for cap tax purposes. $2.4 million counts against the cap, doesn’t matter if your 10 years of service, or 5 years of service… so when you do the math they’re hard capped at the first apron, that pushes them over the first apron by about 600,000.” This Doesn’t Mean The Deal Cannot Be Done, But It Could Potentially Not Be A 2-Year Deal.

Winning a championship is literally the goal of playing in the NBA. Every player, coach, and front office is trying to put themselves in the best position to win. But when LeBron does it y’all call it ring chasing. So are players supposed to avoid good situations just to make y’all happy? Y’all move the goalposts depending on whose name is on the jersey. Y’all just don’t like LeBron.

@Antbwan @westbrook1134 @prmade313raised Agreed, which is why Barkley joined a stacked team to improve his odds of winning. He did this in his early 30s, but wants to slander someone in their early 40s for doing the exact same thing he did. 🤔

@strongarm94 @Dejisco29 Exactly. Only thing better than retiring right after winning a superbowl is retiring after winning back to back superbowls!

@Dejisco29 He’s got a point, but that’s not how Brady operates. He felt like he could have won another before retiring. You know what’s better than winning 7 Super Bowls? Winning 8. Or 9. He wanted to play until he couldn’t anymore, and he wouldn’t have been satisfied after one season.

Jerry Seinfeld explains why Tom Brady missed the perfect retirement Jerry Seinfeld: Let’s go back, if I may, to an obsession of mine, which is Brady winning that Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, his first year out of the Patriots. How do you miss that moment as the greatest retirement opportunity? I mean, I went to another team and took them all the way, my first year. Anybody in show business would know, “I just did the impossible.” “Goodnight, everybody. You’re old anyway. This is not going anywhere. Take that trophy and say, ‘I’m out!’” Adam Carolla: I know. Jerry Seinfeld: That’s show business! That’s good show business! But these guys don’t care about show business.
