Over the past few months, I’ve put a significant amount of time, effort, and energy into helping build something I believed had real potential. After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to step away from Advance UK This isn’t a decision made lightly, and it’s not based on one moment or one issue. It comes down to wanting to make a difference matched by action, and effort actually has to lead to results. I’ve had honest conversations at the top, and I want to be clear. There are good people involved, and I respect those I’ve worked with. I’m grateful for the opportunities I was given, particularly building in Teesside across 7 constituencies. However, the points I raised over time at leadership level, while receiving some recognition, have led me to conclude I’m better suited to a different environment where I can be most effective. For me, this is about being effective, not just involved. I still believe this country needs serious change... that hasn’t changed. What has changed is where I believe that change can actually be delivered. Going forward, I’ll be volunteering my time and skills to support @RestoreBritain_ 🇬🇧

@MJSquiresReform I was in Reform within my first year of leaving the Navy. There's people all over who have left for similar reasons to me.

@moontheloon22 @ChappellJe13586 Everyone always says a week in politics is a long time... Reform was horrible, and I was pushed aside. Advance has the right principles but wrong delivery. What I have been doing locally also more aligns with what Restore has been doing.

@Nic_Jane_Taylor It was recognised. I was growing them on social media locally and feeding things up. It's just the actual party infrastructure can't support the speed at which I move and that the party needs to move to make a country saving impact.

@conkers16 @2tweetaboutit Wider Service Medal is for more than 180 days on operations outside of normal operating circumstances. I was in the gulf in 2019/20 when it all kicked off and did 200 odd days on deployment. The other 2 is Queens diamond jubilee and kings coronation.

@ChappellJe13586 My twitter account is relatively new. I never really used it. I joined Reform in 2024 and left in 2025. I was campaign co-ordinator for Stockton-on-tees and won them their only by election win in the county in Billingham parish. All my work is on Facebook currently.
