Over the past four weeks, I have been fully engaged in supporting Nick and the team in delivering the recent by-election campaign. It has been an intense and demanding period, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a dedicated and hardworking group. The commitment and professionalism demonstrated by everyone involved has been superb. Prior to the campaign, I was a member of both @_AdvanceUK , a political party, and @RestoreBritain_ , a movement. During this time, Restore announced its intention to transition into a political party. Having given this careful consideration, I believe this is the appropriate moment for me to step back and focus my efforts fully on supporting Restore as it moves forward in its new capacity. While I believe that both parties would benefit from closer alignment or collaboration, it does not appear that this is likely in the immediate term. 🚨🇬🇧 MIGRANTS CAUGHT RETURNING TO UK IN LORRIES AFTER DEPORTATION Illegal migrants sent back to France under the “one-in, one-out” deal have been caught returning to Britain hidden in lorries. At least four individuals made their way back, with two detained on arrival and two now believed to be in London. Some say smugglers are now using lorry routes again to bypass the scheme and bring people back into the UK.

Labour’s Islamophobia definition is unlawful and infringes free speech. Atheists such as Richard Dawkins could be silenced by Labour’s new anti-Muslim hostility definition. Dawkins has regularly criticised Islam for its oppressive qualities. The Free Speech Union has sent a pre-action letter to the Communities Secretary, threatening judicial review if the definition and guidance are not withdrawn immediately. In our letter, we also warned about the chilling effect this definition will have on women’s ability to comment on and critique aspects of Islam, and the acts of those who follow it, that are deeply harmful to women in particular. “For example, women, and indeed Muslim women (in particular) may feel inhibited from speaking about actions such as so-called ‘honour killings’ where such speech may be labelled and regulated as anti-Muslim hostility”. The definition could also hinder campaigners working to expose practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), predatory grooming gangs, and abuses of women’s rights. Another problem is that this definition could penalise people simply for recounting historical events. This could impact Sikhs, for example, when marking the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur, who defended the Hindu faith against Muslims. In our letter, we warned that the definition and guidance could lead to “offensive comments” — or perfectly legitimate expressions of free speech — being logged as “anti-Muslim hostility”. This would create a new form of non-crime hate incident (NCHI), inhibiting public debate while wasting police time and taxpayers’ money. This official definition is a Muslim blasphemy law by the back door, which will silence public debate and legitimate criticism of Islam, its practices, and its history. Read more below 👇

Then on the 18th of December 1878, in a lecture hall in Newcastle, he switched it on. It burned bright. Then it broke. But the idea was proven. ⚡ Six weeks later, 3rd February 1879, he demonstrated it again. This time it worked. Seven hundred people watched the room light up. Eight months before Thomas Edison. Edison heard about it. Filed a patent. Then sued Swan in America. The US Patent Office found against Edison. ✅ Edison sued Swan in Britain. The British courts found against Edison again. ✅✅ As part of the settlement, Edison was forced into a partnership with Swan. The company was called Ediswan. Swan's patents. Swan's filament design. Edison's name first. Eventually Edison bought him out. Swan was knighted in 1904. The Savoy Theatre, the first building in the world lit entirely by electricity, used his bulbs. Billy Howarth is a Rochdale-born campaigner and the founder of Parents Against Grooming UK (PAGUK). He set up PAGUK in response to the grooming scandals that affected communities in Rochdale and other areas. As a survivor of child abuse himself, he has been actively fighting child sexual exploitation (CSE) and child sexual abuse (CSA) for over 20 years. His efforts began well before PAGUK was formally launched around 2014. He works to expose alleged cover-ups and systemic failures by authorities, including police, councils, and government figures. He focuses on accountability in major cases such as those in Rochdale, Rotherham, Telford, and Oldham. He shares detailed evidence, documents, timelines, and survivor accounts to highlight decisions that he believes allowed abuse to continue unchecked. Through his work, Billy has supported survivors directly, spoken publicly in media interviews and events, stood as an independent candidate in local and by-elections to raise these issues, and kept up consistent pressure even when public attention has faded. He posts regularly about inquiries, failures in the justice system, and calls for a fully independent national investigation. After more than two decades of this tireless and often solitary fight, he continues the work largely through public donations to fund survivor support and campaigning. The effort remains resource-intensive and ongoing. This man has patrolled parks to stop grooming, he has trained staff who council and help survivors. He goes to court with survivors to support them and ensure their safety. He has spoken truth to power for 20 years, and has a charity shop in the town that is a hub for local people. He even does a Santas Grotto every year. A selfless man that has dedicated his life to others. Please support Billy by coming to Leeds tomorrow, follow his account and repost this. 🚨BREAKING Essex police have TURNED OFF their live facial recognition cameras as they were catching too many black people 🇬🇧 They have also admitted that it was EXTREMELY rare the cameras would pick somebody up who WASN’T on the watchlist. They put up cameras to catch bad people, the cameras caught the bad people who happened to be predominantly black so they turned the cameras off 😑
