Respect to every Manchester City fan that made the trip to Madrid. I think every match going fan (regardless of who you support) is finding it financially very difficult this season. There are so many games, many like tonight are at short notice and travel costs etc keep going up

These things are connected. The reason away support seems better (for many clubs, not just Man City) is because home stadium ticketing focuses on hospitality, corporate, and creating an event to be marketed rather than a team to supported.

This lunchtime we have written to Roel De Vries & Ferran Soriano and passed on the survey feedback from fans that they would like the ticket / transfer restrictions to be relaxed.

Love the bloke but he needs to wind his neck in. If he used his voice to communicate with the board, ticketing office and influence change regarding ticketing policies then we may be able to fill the stadium for the 4th midweek game this year.
