@CFBDouchebag Once the arm is hit when in a throwing motion the trajectory of the ball may go different from the intent. Obviously the back was blocking so possibly not intended receiver. Need more video than this alone

I understand that the TCU quarterback’s arm was going forward, however he was at the 29 and so was the player he hit. Are we sure this pass isn’t going backwards?

@tjmcaulay Here is my take. The defender is several inches shorter than the receiver. He leads with his shoulder but when taller receiver ducks his head the helmets also hit. Pretty simple. The “defenseless player” absolutely sees the back coming and prepares for hit. Excellent no call.

I can't think of any reasonable explanation for Replay to not create targeting here. It's clearly and obviously a targeting foul. 1. Defenseless player 2. Attacks and leads with the helmet 3. Makes forcible contact with the helmet to head/neck

Also, congratulations to Rolando Escalona, who defeated the Carollo Crime family, ending their four-decade reign of terror in Miami politics. This wasn't an election; it was an evolution. She's Miami's first Democratic Mayor in 30 years. The photo on the left is from the first time I interviewed her in May 2018, when she first ran for public office. Even then, I believed she was destined for something greater. I'm glad Miami will have a new Mayor ready to sweep out the old ways.
