Dear @latimes How is @spencerpratt vision of Los Angeles “dark”? It’s realistic. No amount of gaslighting headlines will convince residents to ignore the obvious decline of the city, of safety, of cleanliness, and of Hollywood. It’s time for major change.

Spencer Pratt has spent his entire adult life cultivating notoriety, exploiting controversy, manipulating media narratives, and manufacturing spectacle for personal attention and profit. None of that demonstrates leadership, sound judgment, honesty, temperament, or public service. Being provocative on reality television is not remotely the same thing as governing one of America’s largest and most complex cities. And before another person tells me I am Canadian so I should mind my own business - it is my business - it is Canada's business. Los Angeles and Canada conduct a massive amount of business with one another. Canada is California’s second-largest commercial partner, with two-way trade between California and Canada generating $53 billion annually.

@jessezwick Jesse, I saw a man pissing off the side of the Santa Monica Pier just last Tuesday afternoon. Right at the bottom of the ramp from Ocean, fully in front of all the families and tourists. He doesn’t need a home - he needs to be arrested and fined.
