When I was a postgrad, I went to Rum on a reading party, which was supposed to last a weekend. Because of choppy seas, we were stranded for an extra two nights. Things were great until the island started to run out of alcohol and cigarettes. Five stars. theguardian.com/travel/2024/oc…

There was a sizable shift in the betting markets in the last 24 hours, implying Trump is now the favourite, about 7-8% more likely than Wednesday. Is this hurricane-related? (Has his wretched lying yielded benefits?) Or has something eles happened? #USElection2024
