Schopenhauer spent two volumes proving happiness is impossible. Then he wrote a guide on how to live happily anyway. No one read the first two, but the self-help book was a hit. He also wrote, "The person who writes for fools is always sure of a large audience."

@0xngmi This is a great feature. However I can't sell RSUP because you price it wrong, it thinks there's a -80% drop. Dev please do something.

someone just swapped $50m for $36k on cowswap through aave's frontend, effectively losing 50m if you try to make this swap on llamaswap the UI won't let you at all, buttons get locked we've spent years building a price API with the highest coverage of defi tokens to avoid this

My pre-vacation portfolio moves. I’m heading to the beach next week and I want to leave my positions ready so I can actually relax. I have no idea if we're near the bottom, but I’m making these moves based on where I see value right now: > Buying more Bitcoin: My @Raacfi bond unlocked and I went straight into $BTC. I’ve deposited it into FX Mint (@protocol_fx) to mint stables and buy even more. Also sold half of my AAVE position for BTC. My liquidation is at $20k, keeping it safe and farming the @merkl_xyz campaign incentives at the same time. > The $CVX accumulation: I’m officially buying @ConvexFinance. Just made my first $1,000 purchase and moved it to @asymmetryfin. As long as it stays below $4, I’ll keep adding. I’m betting on the Curve ecosystem making a comeback. > Farming on @MetronomeDAO & RAAC: Keeping my liquidity in these pools. The yields are still too good to leave on the table. > Algorithmic betting: I’m going back to my roots but using data. I’ve entered the @EmberProtocol vault and a private sports betting project from a friend. Some accounts did a 5x in a month. It’s only for Spain, Andorra, and UK users for now, but the results are brutal. If you want more info, let me know. The data-driven approach is looking very solid. I’ll give you guys updates when I’m back. Time to disconnect. 🏖️

We've been doing AEO work for clients and couldn't find an open-source monitoring tool, so we built one! Canonry tracks how ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude talk about your business (or competitors). 3 commands to set up. Free forever! 🧵

Ever wondered how @CurveFinance's fee architecture works? I built an interactive map that visualizes the full flow, with live on-chain and api data. Check it out here: docs.curve.finance/fee-architectu…

The explanation for why people lend ETH at 2% instead of staking via Lido for 3% is very simple - you can borrow against ETH supplied to @aave. Intuitively understanding this (or not) is the difference between practice and theory.
Julian@_julianma

Why do so many people choose to lend out ETH on Aave for 2% instead of stake via Lido for 3% yield? In a new paper with Joel Hasbrouck, @cryptoeconprof, and @casparschwa we build a structural econometric model and estimate it with data from Aave and Lido. The result? There is a huge market inefficiency that cannot be explained by smart contract risk, depeg risk, or any other risk.

Prediction markets are moving beyond simple bets. I’ve been looking into strategies for high-probability events on Polymarket. This led me to analyze @EmberProtocol, and I’m putting part of my capital into their vault today. If you decide to join, keep in mind that the vault updates balances twice a week, so don’t worry if your deposit doesn't reflect immediately. This is an automated vault that brings institutional algorithmic strategies to prediction markets. The vault operates on three main strategies: > Bonding: They provide liquidity to outcomes with high consensus. While many avoid these because capital gets "locked" until resolution, the algorithm manages this by rotating and hedging to minimize risks of last-minute surprises. > Information Arbitrage: Humans are slow to react to news. Ember’s algorithms perform "info arb" on real-world events, reacting almost instantly to buy positions at a discount. > Directional Alpha: Using quantitative models from @thirdeye_fund, they only take bets when there is a clear mathematical edge or asymmetry. Of course, it’s not risk-free. There can be drawdowns, and you have to consider Polymarket liquidity for large orders, plus the usual smart contract and oracle risks. But seeing a vault hit 1.46M in its first month shows the massive demand for these tools.

Ember Protocol@EmberProtocol

46 days ago, Ember Protocol launched the first-ever prediction market vault together with @Polymarket and @thirdeye_fund. Since launch, the vault has grown to $1.3 million in deposits and has delivered an average 54.55% APY. Prediction markets have emerged as one of crypto’s most powerful primitives, and Ember’s prediction vault introduces a new way to participate in them.

@lordjorx Similar to selling deep OTM call options. Watch your pnl consistently tick up and to the right.... until a long tail outcome hits and you go to 0. Good bet sizing is essential for this to work long-term.

The "Nothing Ever Happens" yield strategy. I’ve been thinking about running my own Polymarket account. The idea is simple: betting that certain things just won't happen. I did some quick research and found a few examples that seem quite obvious to me. For example, I don't think Norway is going to win the World Cup. They just don't have the team for it. By betting "No," you earn 3.52% on your capital. When you turn that into an APR, it’s 9.66%. That is already better than most things we find in DeFi just for saying Norway won't win. Then there is a bet on whether the USA will attack Cuba before the end of March. You can earn 8.65% on your capital in just 22 days. With the ongoing conflict in Iran, I doubt they will open a second front. If you extrapolate that to a yearly return, we are talking about a 143% APR. I’m not a geopolitics expert, but two simultaneous conflicts seem unlikely. Another one: Satoshi moving any Bitcoin during 2026. Betting "No" pays 9.17% on your deposit. Since we are already two months into the year, the APR is 11.27%. To me, this is a very safe bet. If Satoshi actually moves coins, the whole crypto market is going to almost 0. Finally, I don't think Atletico de Madrid will win the Champions League. It pays 3.2% on capital, or a 14.24% APR. They already have a spot in next year's Champions League guaranteed and they are in the Copa final, which I think is their priority. Plus, there are many better teams in the bracket. Sorry to my Norwegian or Atletico fans, but I don't think it's happening. This is easy yield and much better than what the famous stablecoins are giving us.

Where to park stablecoins now. I will soon unlock a bond from the @Raacfi team. While I’m keeping some pmUSD pools for farming, I want to lower my exposure to that stablecoin and find new ways to play. I’ve been looking into @EmberProtocol lately. The team is solid, the DeFi Lead was part of Pangea, who are some of the best in data analysis. They actually helped Curve manage risk during @yieldbasis stablecoin issues. Ember has some interesting delta-neutral strategies that pay over 10% without relying on liquidity mining. They are very transparent; you can click into each strategy and see the share price, the yield history, and the specific wallets they use. Their most impressive vault right now is the Polymarket one. It has a 511% APY. If you subtract the 20% performance fee, you’re looking at 410%. Keep in mind this isn’t a linear growth line. These are bets, so sometimes they win, sometimes they don't. They’ve had a very good run over the last few days. You can actually go to Polymarket and see their active bets; they are currently heavy on predicting outcomes of the current global conflicts. The idea of doing my own Polymarket strategies is also on my mind. There’s a theory that "nothing ever happens," and you can earn easy yield on stablecoins just by betting against extreme events. It’s often a better return than what you get from the biggest stablecoins in the ecosystem. I’m still behind the sidelines for now, no money in yet. I have a pending interview with the team to dig deeper into who is managing the backend.

Does anyone know a Tg bot that sends alerts when a stablecoin depegs/repegs on Curve? I want to execute buys or sells the moment those thresholds are triggered. If anyone is using a tool or bot for this, please let me know.
