Iran would have no incentive to mine the Strait of Hormuz if we weren’t there. Pull our forces out & Iran faces major pressure to open the Strait from the rest of the world & loses their justification. Staying in our current posture is inviting escalation for zero gain.
Jennifer Griffin@JenGriffinFNC

MORE details on US strikes vs Iranian targets today: 2 Iranian boats were caught laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, senior US official tells me. The US military eliminated both IRGC vessels and also struck at a SAM (surface to air missile) site in Bandar Abbas that was targeting US warplanes. “These were defensive strikes.” They do not indicate ceasefire is over, according to two well placed sources.

Erin Brockovich has launched a website and has begun tracking all data centers in America and logging resident complaints In just 1 week it’s already logged 1,690 resident complaints For this who don’t remember Erin Brockovich was the paralegal responsible for winning out a case against PG&E, Hinckley in California, because their wastewater runoff was seeping into rural areas and creating a lot of health issues for, for the surrounding neighborhoods That case brought in a $333 million settlement that went to the families affected by the situation because a lot of them either had staggering medical bills due to their tap water was no longer safe So why is this important, well residents all over America are reporting their tap water and river water is being heavily polluted by data centers Her map of data centers is new, she just launched it The website features an interactive US map showing operational, under-construction, and proposed AI data centers, overlaid with community-reported complaints Residents can submit reports with details, photos, and locations. Within days of launch, it received a surge of submissions over 1,600 in the first week, and reports of 1,800+ from 47 states shortly after Common Resident Complaints Being Logged - Water usage - Raising utility bills for residents - Noise pollution: Constant 24/7 humming from fans, generators, and cooling systems disrupting sleep, daily life, and wildlife. - E-waste from frequent hardware upgrades, pollution including PFAS concerns

"Does anyone else feel like they're just too aware of everything?" "Money is literally just paper that someone decided is valuable, and we all just agreed." "I find it fascinating to watch people rushing through their day, stressed about deadlines and status and possessions, completely unaware that they're playing a game they never chose to join." "They're so caught up in the matrix of social constructs, they never question any of it." "But once you see it, you can't unsee it."

Well said @PierrePoilievre If you come into OUR country, then proceed to break OUR laws, it should result in immediate DEPORTATION. If you enter OUR country ILLEGALLY, it should result in immediate DEPORTATION. If you enter OUR country and then support terrorist entities or groups trying to hurt us, it should result in immediate DEPORTATION. If you enter OUR country, then try to change OUR laws to suit the country YOU just fled, it should result in immediate DEPORTATION.

Pierre Poilievre says that a Conservative government led by him will pass a castle law that allows Canadians to DEFEND their homes with whatever force they deem necessary against violent home intruders. Common sense.

Hey Missing Money McKenna, Love your take on Canada as a 'petrostate' run by 'rich oil companies'. Maybe explain why the Auditor General said Infrastructure Canada could not properly show where the infrastructure plan stood before lecturing Canadians about a “petrostate.” Blaming high gas & heating costs on oil execs while ignoring taxes, carbon policy, regulations, global prices, refining & supply limits is naive. Over 6,000 common products come from petroleum & natural gas. Even wind turbine blades, solar panel resins, EV components, chargers, wiring & plastics rely heavily on petrochemicals. Your phone, laptop & tablet → plastics & components Clothes & shoes → polyester, nylon, synthetic fabrics & rubber soles Car tires & the roads you drive on → synthetic rubber + asphalt Shampoo, deodorant, lipstick, lotion, nail polish, toothpaste → petrochemicals Aspirin, medicines, IV bags, syringes, contact lenses → derived from oil Plastic bottles, food packaging, furniture, detergents, paints, adhesives Fertilizers that grow the food you eat → ammonia from natural gas Modern life=petrochemicals. You can’t just wish them away while pushing a rushed transition that ignores this reality - as infrastructure queen, you must realize Carney said we need a TRILLION in grid upgrades?? (Which, coincidentally, take a shit ton of petro to build out, but you should know that.) Maybe competent infrastructure planning would have made things cheaper, and we need our "petrostate" because it actually delivers. Your post is exactly why Alberta is angry, so you might want to zip it. Facts > rhetoric.

The Liberal government's climate strategy, which wasted over $200 billion coupled with provincial programs totaling over $500 billion has failed to reduce emissions. $12,000+ flushed per Canadian on 149 bloated, useless programs that delivered zero results. This is expensive incompetence and taxpayer betrayal at its absolute worst. #cdnpoli

To believe that these two just get to walk off into the sunset without ever answering for what they did to our Country is beyond infuriating to think about. And both of them are complicit in helping to install our current Government which only continues our slow march towards complete destruction of the Canada we once knew.
